Your Cellular Phone History..

Mga repapips.. lets reminisce the time we got our first cellphone at yung mga subsequent upgrades natin.. share some nice stories about it na rin and how nostalgic it is everytime we see those old phones again. 


1 - my first cellphone.. (1999) the Motorola D368

this was given to me by my seaman uncle.. ginamit nya lang for a while then iniwan na nya sakin.. uso na ang Nokia 3210 nung panahon na yun kaya ang pang asar ng mga classmate ko sa cellphone ko eh "TV Controller" hehe

2 - my second cellphone.. (2000) the Nokia 5110

I bought this from my friend who needed money.. this was my first Nokia phone which is by that time eh old model na ang 5110 pero I still enjoy having this.. bumili pa ako nung case para maging internal yung antenna nya.

3 - my third cellphone.. (2002) the Nokia 3310

I got this when my uncle offered me to buy a 3310 a friend of his is selling.. so ginawa ko is trade ko yung 5110 ko plus 2k.. itong cellphone na ito ang pinakamatagal na gamit ko, since yung sumunod dito nasira agad kaya ginamit ko ito ulit, lahat na ata nagawa ko sa cellphone na to, backlight change, housing, acetate etc ang kung ano ano pa..

4 - my fourth cellphone.. (2003) the Nokia 7110

I bought this nokia phone in "reconditioned" state.. not knowing at that time kung ano meaning nun, gusto ko lang talaga magkaron ng cellphone na may "Wireless Application Protocol" kaya minadali ko.. sadly I was only able to use this phone for 6 months.. nasira na agad.. so I reverted back to my trusty Nokia 3310.

5 - my fifth cellphone.. (2004) the Nokia 6610

This is another memorable phone for me.. first: this is my a graduation gift for me from my mom.. second: this is my "first colored and camera phone", and third: this is the first phone na madugas sakin.. this phone was pickpocketed in a bus nung papasok ako sa office.. gumawa ako ng scene sa bus.. hinarangan ko ang exit at binantaan ko lahat ng tao pati yung driver.. it was really a memorable phone.. di ko naibalik yung phone so balik 3310 ulit ako.

6 - my sixth cellphone.. (2004) the Nokia 7650

This is the first series 60 Nokia phone na nabili ko at unang phone na nabili ko sa sarili kong pera.. nabili ko to sa makati cinema square ng 2nd hand.. not reconditioned (since nadala na ako) and fortunately oks na oks sya.. walang defect yung nabili ko.. 12k ko ata nabili ito

7 - my seventh cellphone.. (2005) the Nokia 6600

this is my LAST nokia cellphone.. I got this one via a trade plus cash sa 7650 ko, I have my 7650 appraised and was priced at 7k by the shop.. tapos yung price ng 6600 nun eh 16k so nag add nalang ako ng cash, this is also the first phone I got BRAND SPANKING NEW.. and I loved it, I used it for 3 years, hindi ako nagpalit or nag upgrade because around mid 2006 eh may alingasngas na na gumagawa ng sariling cellphone ang Apple Computer.. kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko ang next cellphone na bibilhin ko is that rumored Apple Cellphone na.. since I knew that yun na ang magiging future ng cellphone.. as I am already an Apple user at that time and saw the potential success of Apple products.

8 - my eighth cellphone.. (2008) the Apple iPhone

I was so proud when I got this.. February of 2008 I still remember.. 20k ko nakuha ito, pinabili ko sa uncle ko who came from abroad.. AT&T locked pero naka software unlock.. the best phone I owned, the most sophisticated device, technology and user experience for me.. usability excellence.. I used this phone for 3 years, di ako nag upgrade sa 3G and 3GS.. waited until a significant change will appear bago ako nag upgrade.. sobrang tibay nitong phone na to, iningatan ko ng husto and I still have it with me today.. using it as my backup phone.

9 - my ninth cellphone.. (2011) the Apple iPhone 4

I got this last year, when I noticed that Apple wont be releasing the iPhone 5 but merely an upgrade to the 4 (like the 3G to 3GS) I decided to get the iPhone 4 and since im waiting for another "significant change" I said to myself ill stick to the iPhone 4 until the iPhone 5 is introduced.. they say the iPhone 5 will definitely have a bigger 4 inch screen and a new design.. this is my current phone.

N3210 K.I.A. (pinaglumaan ng ermat ko, buhay pa to hanggang magkalehiyo ako, tapos binigay nya sa kapatid nya, dun lang nasira, eto yung original na 3210 na hindi plain yellow ang backlight.)

N3310 K.I.A. (Katas ng pension ng lola ko, ayun, mga 2 years din sakin to, tapos nabasa habang naglalaba ako.)

N6070 M.I.A. (Regalo sakin ng ermat at erpat ko nung birthday ko, nadukutan ako sa bus nito, 2 years din sakin.)

N5130 M.I.A. (Pinalit sa nadukot, after 6 months, nadukot din ito. hehe)

N5230 HONORABLE DISCHARGE (Pinalit ulit sa nadukot, ingat na ingat na ako, kaya yun, after ko matanggap ang next phone ko, binigay ko na ito sa mama ko.)

N5800 ON TOUR DUTY (Eto yung last at gamit ko ngayon, pinamana sakin ng erpat ko.)

Eto sakin 

Nokia 3210 - (High School)  Bigay ni Erpats. Hiniram ng Tito ko tapos nawala nya. Pero matagal ko din nagamit to.

Nokia 3310 - (High School) Dating CP ni ermats. Tapos binilihan sya ng bago ni Erpats si Ermats, tapos pinamana sakin to.  (Pina-upgrade ko din to)

Nokia 3220 - (College) Eto ang CP na sobrang tumagal sakin.. 2007 hanggang ngayon gamit ko parin. 

Nokia N70 - (College)  Yung mga panahong Gamit ko to pinagamit ko muna kay utol yung Nokia 3220 ko. Tapos nung nawala na tong CP ko (Nadukot ng magaling) Balik ulit ako sa Nokia 3220.  . Ngayon may N70 ulit ako. Pinaglumaan ni GF. 

SE W801i Walkman - Binenta sakin ng pinsan ko sa halagang P750 

(Nokia 2690 , Ilang buwan ko rin nagamit kaso sangla lang sakin ni Tito)
(Nokia 6110 , Pinahiram sakin ni Erpats nung nawala N70 ko. Di ko agad nabawi kay Utol N3220 ko e.)

Bale CP ko ngayon N70 Primary phone ko, SE w810i, At Nokia 3220.  At wala pa akong planong bumili ng bagong phone, nagagamit ko pa naman ng maayos tong mga to e.  Sa tingin ko di ko kailangan ng mga bagong Smartphone ngayon kasi may Ipod touch naman ako.

nung lumabas kasi tong phone na ito eh yung 3310 ko pa ang gamit ko, college boy pa ako at wala pa akong pera.. yung 5210 yung "shell-type" casing tapos may "thermometer" pa.. ang ginawa ko nalang eh bumili nalang ako ng case ng 3310 ko na mukhang 5120 hehehe

1. had one of those bulky nokia phones with simcards as big as a prepaid card.

2. nokia 3210 in 2000. lasted a few months, got stolen.

3. motorola v2288 in 2000 (i think). broke but i still have the unit.

4. another 3210 in 2003, lasted for a few months, changed it for my next unit

5. nokia 3310 in 2003, lasted a few months, changed it to a 1100

6. nokia 1100 in 2004, lasted a few weeks (yes, weeks) since it got stolen

7. nokia 6150 in 2004, lasted a few months as well, changed it for an 8250 (or was it 8210?)

8. nokia 8210 in 2004, lasted until its screen and other parts broke down in 2005

9. nokia 3315 in 2005, was okay but kinda bulky. got another 1100 a few months later

10. nokia 1100 in 2005, it was a good unit actually, but i changed it to a 3200 after almost a year

11. nokia 3200 in 2006, good unit too. i let it go after my globe offered me a new phone

12. sony ericsson t250 in 2008, got this from globe. lasted for a year. got stolen in 2009

13. nokia (its colored but was practically a call and text phone) used for a few weeks in 2009 until i bought another phone

14. motorola (forgot the exact model, was part of the series advertised by taken by cars), first time to make a local online purchase. lasted a year. lcd broke while doing field work in 2010.

15. a myphone sliderphone in 2010. had this at the same time with the motorola. this was my second phone for work. when the motorola broke, i used this for a month with my official line in it.

16. blackberry curve 8520 in 2010. still my current phone. got this from globe as well.

i got back my old myphone sliderphone last month for me to use for my wireless landline. seeing the list i posted, i never thought i went through so many phones.

Purchased it brand new at SM Fairview at P6000+ sell it for P1800. DAFUQ!
Now ask me the reason. lol

oo nga sir, smart move talaga para makasabay sila sa mobile industry,

gas din ako sa phone na to eh. mejo mahal lang.haha. tsaka ok yung 32GB na memory nito di na talaga need ng sd slot. ambilis pa ng RAM 1gb. haha

what i like about it...

resolution, bigger screen, better audio, better graphics, great camera...

it has this kind of screen where it shows all your updates from fb, tweeter, etc... really cool.
