got this a day ago SX RST in seafoam green
but basically i took the guitar apart, i spent close to 2 hours working on the neck/frets. i re-tapped all the frets, glued them in, removed the residue then re-level the frets,de-burr and polish.
for the fretboard i oiled it up, looked for raised area's and using a nail file, level those flush and then using sand paper grits 3000-6000 on the fretboard it gives it a nice slick feel, anybody who owned a new suhr/anderson with a rosewood fretboard will know how those feel like, like the rosewood itself is sealed up.
i took out the nut reshape and cut it right, they use those nylabone fancy word for plastic
the neck wood quality is good in this one, solid feel, nice figuring but it was too rough feeling, so i burnished the neck, applied some gunstock wax and worked that neck lol
the seafoam finish out of the box was duller, a light buffing with some car wax polish made the difference, like night and day. the clear is thin which is good but it scratches/dings up easily.
hardware and electronics nothing much to say, they just work for a beginner guitar.
came with some tuner/picks/gig bag/ strap, how to play guitar dvd,
here's some crappy iphone pics
