Is it safe on nitro finish?

I'd shy away from mineral oil as it lightly strips off nitro finishes.

I get a sticky neck when playing for several minutes on my highway one tele in a non-air conditioned room. I don't notice that before. Is it the weather lately or is it my hands? I try to wash my hands but I can still feel the stickiness. Anyone has the same problem? Anything I can wipe on the neck to make it smoother?

Blame it on the weather,or the climate. Humidity will cause a huge bugger over nitros especially old ones(kaya dapat talaga may summer guitar ka,hahaha while your vintage axe  aestivate :P ,kidding) A good absorbent cloth is enough to smooth it out as sweat eventually will evaporate, and with regards to the residue,I'd seek out true lemon oil(carefully read the MSDS) to clean it out.

Kaya pala! A few weeks back I was recording videos and I had to turn off the fan coz may hiss sa recording. A few minutes of playing sticky na agad ang neck hirap na hirap akong mag improvise. I was wondering bat iba ang feel nya compared sa normal na pawis.

Kahapon I was just practicing may fan na nakatutok pero ang hirap gumalaw sa neck dumidikit ang kamay ko. I realized it was not my hands akala ko kasi pasmado na ko.

I have lemon oil. How do I know na true lemon oil yun. Puede ba yun sa maple? What is MSDS?

Material safety data sheet : Its like the labels you'd find inside medicine packages, it contains a lot of info's regarding the material(in this case the lemon oil). A lot of branded lemon oil are not true lemon oil, more likely, they are mineral oil with lemon scent. that's why its worth checking the MSDS first before falling victim to false marketing :P

If you'd be using it with maple, you might want to find a lemon oil brand without added colouring agent as well as it may stain your precious wood.

I'm not too sure with mineral oil reacting with nitro, but it plays okay with my guitar. Poly naman yata yun kasi satin finish yung neck sa likod, and rosewood yung board so I'm good with both mineral oil and lemon oil.

My LP is wired in such a way na when the toggle switch is in the middle position and one of the vol knobs is set to 0, walang lalabas na sound sa amp. What type of wiring is this, modern, 50s, etc?

That's the standard LP wiring.. Modern wiring and 50s wiring also share the same thing -- no sound when either pickup's volume is at zero and you're at the middle position.

If you want there to be a sound at the middle position even when there is a zero-volume pickup, better have it rewired ala "jazz bass".

Ano po ba mas maganda? Yung pickups na de-clip sa headstock o yung pickup na kinakabit sa butas ng acoustic guitar?

Hindi ako familiar dun sa pickup na nilalagay sa headstock, di pa ko nakakakita nun. A sound hole pickup is a common choice for those acoustics that don't have a built in pickup system, and they are good, lalo na kung ok na brand bibilhin mo gaya ng fishman  :) but for me the best way to get a good sound on an acoustic guitar is to use a microphone  :-D

yun ba yung piezo na clip? I'd rather get a magnetic soundhole pickup for the sake of practicality and sonic quality. Pero mas maganda yung magnetic+mic soundhole pickups or yung parang fishman na namention.

Meron palang pickup na naka cllip sa headstock? Puede malaman anong brand or kung meron kang link?

Yung kinakabit sa butas ang tawag dun soundhole transducer. It may sound like an electric guitar pero madali lang ikabit. Merong model na may kasamang mic and soundhole pickup mas maganda yun kasi dual source.

Depende din sa brand ang quality ng tunog. Meron ka bang specific brand/model na nakita?

nag google ako kanina sir, mukha syang higanteng version nung ginagamit sa mga violin. ang nakita ko yung pang mandolin, but I assume one for a guitar is very similar.

Yung nakita ko pang ukelele. I'm not sure if it is a good idea to have a cable dangling sa headstock baka matanggal ang pagkaclip. Another thing is most of the tone is from the soundboard.

these pickups are used with the old school tuners. they are used to get the notes frmo the acoustic guitar para makapag tono. they are not really meant to be amplified. pero pwede.

it operates like a single piezo elliot lemi or K&K.

wala. it really sounds thin. they had a better model though, parang attach to guitar soundboard via suction cup. that was pretty decent. bilis lang mag feedback.

kung bnew, you're looking at the mooers. for 3.5k, you're most probably looking at those straight forward delay units that does not have note subdivisions or a dedicated taptempo switch.

secondhand, you can get a boss DD3 for that money, or a bnew mooer reecho/anaecho/echolizer.

IMHO, save up a little bit more, around 5k-6k, then get a TC electronic Flashback, or a Boss DD7/DD20.

Try mo makinig sa youtube ng ibat ibang gitara before you decide what model to buy. Personal decision yan.
