Mga sir hingi sana ako ng advice sa inyo, if you get to choose from the two only, anong pipiliin niyo and why ? for hard rock to trash metal na tugtugan.

an AAX Stage ride 20" or an AAX Metal Ride 20" and why ? from those two only. I'm asking because wala ako experience on both and yan lang 2 options ko as a gift hehe

Maganda kasi yung ping ng metal ride. Pero check mo rin what works for you.

depends on how you use your ride actually. bell sounds the same for both. If your more of a crash rider, go with the AAX stage. If you're more of a ping player, go with the AAX metal ride. If halfway ping and crash ride ka, go with an AAX stage 22".

Ping player - is when you prefer the ping sound of thicker rides compared to the washy traits of thinner ones.

Yup. focused sound and less to no wash ang hanap ng ping players. Imagine getting somewhat the bell sound off the whole ride, yun yung ping sound. perfect for blastbeats, bad for crash riders as it leaves a gongy aftertaste when you crash it. generally makukuha mo yung sound na ito with med heavy to heavy rides. if trip mo best of both worlds, adjust ka sa size para yung distribution ng tunog at yung surface area na pwede mong paglaruan mas malawak, mas madami kang makukuhang tunog.

HHX pies are machine-hammered BUT guided by hand. This is so to achieve yung mina-market ng sabian na "Tone Projection" which is inherent in all HHX pies.

actually machine and hand hammered ang HHX lines. indeed, tone projection couldn't be achieved solely by hand hammering kaya kailangan talaga ng machine hammering; pero yung darkness na hinahabol sa line na ito ay achieved by hand hammering. yung malalaking hammering sa HHX lines are hand hammered. kilatisin mo maigi yung HHX pie mo sa edge banda, you'll see hints of machine hammering underneath pero hindi ganun kadami ang distribution nito vs AA or AAX na hammering distibution.

second - check if there's an engraved "sabian" logo at the topmost part opposite of the printed sabian logo; or just look for an engraved logo or serial in general.
third - the hammering is not of the distinctive AAX style. It's hard to tell unless you really know your sabian pies. applicable if ever for those na alam kung ano ang itsura dapat ng AAX hammering at naghahanap ng dagdag pies.
