bro from the name itself, B8 alloy ung sabian B8's and they're sheet cymbals not casted :)

My mistake bro, but thanks for the correction. :)

But if we compare them, let's say sheet B8 vs casted DH, let's say thin crash. The only down fall DH has is the durability since it doesn't last that long mostly for other case, siguro kung regular gigs, mas mauuna bibigay yung DH since mas manipis sya.

I have 3 DH chinas before, 16 and 10 with the old chinese and dh logo, lasted 3 years before selling it but when I got the 8 china with the big "DH" logo only lasted 6 months ending with a crack.

( I think this belongs to the Stagg thread)

But yeah, its a good brand. No doubt.

Aw masakit? Haha,

Check the spring tension and the angle of the beater. That's the first problem I encountered with my IC, I always wear slip on's when drumming  and if I get too excited I step harder after than my right foot looks like an eggplant. And the hardest part is, I have another gig the next night.

If you'll change the beaters angle, change mo rin yung tension springs, or even change the length of the chain( if you are using a chain pedal).

BTW, what pedal are you using?

memory locks? you could opt to go with gibraltar or the likes. price varies depending if the item's currently on sale or not. I have no idea how much exactly as of current though.

a slightly improved sound if the cymbal prior to the resmoothing had major dents et al. minor dents won't make much of a difference unless you have either a super sensitive mic, or supersonic hearing capabilities to distinguish the nuances.

parang ganito:

I believe there are mini-kits available in lazer, not too sure if it's within your budget range though. you could opt to check out the less popular generic music stores too. I saw a "global" mini kit going for 5K at SM Muntinlupa just a few weeks ago. Best guess is that other brands/stores might be carrying/selling it within the same price range as well.

nope. the brand's hardware's a generic built. best to stick with the known brands. they're popular for a reason you know.

May idea kayo kung magkano yung Pearl pedal spring? nagka problema kasi yung sakin.  :-(

thing is, di din ako sure kung merong parts (like springs) available locally. If wala, medyo mahal yun since special order ka either from JBMusic or via a 3rd party seller. anong naging problem nung spring mo?

What do you think?  <_<

sounds legit, pero depende sa series/model ng gibraltar yung price. try to check it out again, ask what the model is so we could verify it further.

Also, if your talking about using it for gigs and productions, it may not hold up soundwise as well as sturdy-wise. You're better of selling your DM6 then buy a better set with the funds you've garnered, or look for other offers. Suggested sets within budget/trade range would be pearl exports, ludwigs or if lucky, mid level gretsch sets.

On a side note, tahimik dito sa board since sunday today. :-P

(assuming right handed drummer ka),

again i put quotations sa word na standard dahil its always about personal preference :) :-D

pwede naman gamit ang cymbal arm attachment, basta balanse yung stand, i usually align the arm attachment to where one of the legs of the stand is, para mas supported :)

Sige sir, baka nga yung cymbal attachment nalang. Sana lang hindi matumba. Balansehin ko nalang siguro yung pagkakalagay. Maraming salamat po :)
