Guys...? Curious lang...alin sa set up nyo ang pinaka paborito nyong cymbal?...yun bang tipong parang kahit anong tugtugan eh pasok na pasok ang tunog?
...at paborito nyong effects...?

Sa setup ko kasi,yung 8" A custom splash ang pinaka "cute" na tunog.
at yung 16" K medium dark crash ang pinaka "demonyo" na parang hindi ko makasundo....siguro dahil wala akong ka jam na ibang instrumento..?!?

sa akin ang paborito kong cymbal ay yung 18" a custom fast crash. kahit saang tugtugan pasok to imho.

ang paborito ko naman effect cymbal ay yung china trash oriental 18". lakas, trashy!

Mine has to be my 18" A Custom Projection Crash and 13" K/Z Special Hi-Hats. Never misses a gig or recording session...

I'm also particular to heavy weighted Rides. That's why I've been using an A Zildjian Rock Ride for the past 10 years. I'm waiting for a 20 or 21" A Custom Projection Ride to complete my dream set-up...

I've never incorporated effects cymbals to my set-up. I just play around with extra crash cymbal placements...

Itong ride kong tangan - Zildjian 21" A. Ewan ko kung Rock, Sweet o Medium model to, basta 70's model. Wide and deep-grooved, well-projecting, dark crash sound, bright ping sa bell, washy medium-pitched tone sa bow. Kahit ito lang at hats ang gamitin ko pwede na, parang sa setup ng We Are Scientists.

Effects? Ewan ko, hindi ko na pinaplano. Pero in case kukuha ako ng effects uli, yung ZXTi flash splash ko dati. Sobrang bright, hindi lang pang-accent, pwede rin i-ride!

for me, i like my 16" K custom dark crash.. grabeh.. almost applicable sa lahat ng styles! hehehehe... then my Zildjian Avedis 22" Ride (1980s) hehehe.. dark sounding,, clear ping!

I love the sound of my 13" A custom Projection high hats especially on recording. I also use a 17" K Dark Crash thin on the left and I can say that it sounds good. I also use an A custom fast crash on the right which is really good for those "not so major parts" where you feel like hitting a crash cymbal without it getting too redundant...(I hope I made sense and I dont come off as obsessive compulsive hahahahaha). I also use a 20" K Custom Dark Ride and I just love the stick definition on that cymbal. They say that cymbals sound better with age but I always wondered if cleaning it regularly with a cymbal cleaner would affect the cymbals in a positive or negative way...Let me know your comments and opinions! Thank you!

i changed my mind.
ang pinaka favorite ko ngayon is the 19" K dark crash thin i got second hand.
ang laki ng bell ayos yung ping sound ok na ride. bali nagiging crash/ride ko to.
natatakwil ko na yung 22" K custom dark ride ko.. heheh.. baka magtampo na...

well mas makakamura ka nga bro if you'll go for the set..yun nga lang isang bagskan sya kaya kahit papano mabigat pa rin sa bulsa...i suggest go for the per piece na lang para pakonti-konti lang labas mo ng pera..this is the same thing ive done for my aax cymbals pare hangang sa nakumpleto ko..ginawa ko paisa isa bili ko..dont worry man medyo matagal nyo pa ako makakasama dito sa sabian department natin..hehe..i'll help you out bro..
