given the specs, it should sound good, medyo on the hot side siguro yung tex-mex pickups nyan. i haven't heard how alder sounds eh, hehe. pero i have an ash texas special strat. ayos naman. compared it to a 50's reissue, mas hot ang tunog, medyo harsh nga lang yung tone nung bridge ko. pero bright kasi ang character ng ash eh. try mo nalang sa www.harmony-central.com may mga reviews dun.

na try ko na and it plays like american pati sound... kya lang diko trip yung white color so order ko yung sunburst... tska nga pla nabenta ko na yung Gibson les paul studio ko for $1000 dollar canadian... FENDER NA AKO ALL OUT ! ! ! :)

medyo nag sawa ako sa tunog ng les paul hinde sya versatile tulad ng strat... I mean I still do like gibson parang ang hirap nyang laruin at nakukuba ako lalo, buong puno banaman pasan mo... LOL :) If I had a reissue gibson and then thats a different story siguro o kaya yung custom nila...

good choice bro!!! i like the V-shaped neck on it... magugulat ka kasi youre used to your Amser/Standard strat na modern C yung neck, ibang iba yung feel...very decent yung texmex pickups... although its an MIM, its one of Fender's best MIM's, sa opinion ko.

Ang inorder kong kulay yung two tone sunburst kse matagal ko nang gustong magkaron ng ganong kulay lalo na sa strat....

Pare thats true baka manibago ako pero oks lang yun... Nag research ako about JV signiture guitar maganda naman yung mga reviews tsaka nung tinatry ko sa store ang ganda tumunog talgang bluesy... One of the best MIM na na try ko tsaka yung mga reissue na MIM ganda rin... Pre ano ba ibig sabihin ng satin neck kse yun sabi sa akin ng isang salesman dun nung inorder nya...

satin necks dude... not glossy, unpolished. it gives a smooth, dry feel to your hands... ooohhh... satin... hehe

satin necks dude... not glossy, unpolished. it gives a smooth, dry feel to your hands... ooohhh... satin... hehe


mang so impressed sa mga knowlegde nyo sa guitar very helpful... Ang explained pa sa akin nung salesman parang vintage ang dating ng JV tapos nga daw yung neck very nice!

medyo prone lang sa sweat stains ang satin necks. pero if that's not a problem to you, ayos yun, hehe. pero dadating din sa point na sa sobrang gamit eh parang mapo-polish na ng kamay mo yung neck, hehe. at that point, sobrang astig na yung guitar mo, hehe.

the Fender Strat is absolutely a joy to play. mag-eenjoy ka dyan pre :) teka, ano na nangyari dun sa Ibanez na kinaskas mo para maging mukhang puno ulit? hehe :)

Pare I had no regrets selling my gibson para lang makuha toh kahit na MIM sya. I went try all the fender yung mga american and MIM and this is the best sounding guitar for me. Wla na ngang question ask after I tested for 5 to 10 min. sabi ko I want one and brandnew... Try ko sa dalawang amp yung guitar first sa fender deluxe reverb na reissue kinilabutan ako tapos sa classic 30 na peavey syembre nilabasan ako sa ganda tumunog LOL....

Anong year ba yung Amser strat mo? if its greater than 2000, then satin feel neck yun..para syang matte(tama ba spelling)..

its just 21 frets, mamimiss mo yung 22nd fret im sure haha.

Nandun sa practice place namin pinapagamit ko sa kabanda ko kse wla syng guitar eh... I like that too but I am not a shredder wannabe lang ako I like to stick sa classic na tone ang blues... Parang lumabas na binili ko lang yung para sa kabanda ko para yun ang gamitin nya hinde yung fender ko tsaka yung gibson... hihihihi damot ko noh :)
