So prior to moving to CA, I had to sell most of my gear to finance the moving costs. Among those sold was my CAR MIJ 62RI Strat:



During my last trip to the Philippines, the then-owner (it changed hands a few times after I sold it) contacted me and asked if I wanted to buy it back.. HELL YEAH!!!!  :-D

So I brought it back then shipped it to my friend Cory (Token Kano to you Philmusic peeps) for some fretwork and setup and finally got it back last Monday and have been playing ever since  8-)

Here's a take on Phil's gospel backing track. I'm calling it "Good to have You back"

Johny: EMG vintage alnicos yung pickups. Kelangan na nga palitan yung pots dahil gamit na gamit na, yun ang sunod na project. Yung tunog dala na rin nung amp yun.

i still remember this guitar. it my was my first time to reherse at your studio in sucat, and alvin (your studio tech) showed me some of your stuff.. then, i saw this gig bag in a corner, i was so curious of whats inside. i pulled it out then i shouted to alvin "P@#$ng Ina! kay perf to'?!  :-D MISMO! is this for sale?!  :mrgreen:

Perf - Nice!  Markado talaga ung diminished and passing chords ah... ako I couldn't even decipher what chords they were, alam ko lang kung ano ung mga notang pasok at hindi.  :-)

Shet. Naisip ko rin to recently kaya pinull out ko ung Strat ko sa buy n sell... Sana tumagal pa sa akin. :-)
