So napansin ko knina habang nililinisan ko, may crack pala sa gitna ng locking nuts as seen below, should I be worried or hayaan ko lang? Nasa taas lang pala yung crack na yan, hindi siya nagcocontinue pababa sa loob ng butas

Tried zooming in. Mukang scratch lang sa photo. I'd have it checked by a luthier if crack nga. Kasi ang scratch, surface lang at hindi lumalaki. Ang crack, possible na lumaki yan.

Sana nga scratch lang, pero namuti yung gilid nung scratch/crack eh. Ang pinagtataka ko lang kung ano nagcause kung crack nga, I never adjust the truss rod or mess with the locking nuts, may times na nababangga ko yung neck sa walls pero hindi naman malakas. Anyways, pacheck ko nalang sa sa luthier para na rin sure at maagapan na kung ano man problema

Do you guys experience cracks in the neck pockets on your guitars specially on the AANJ type? may nabasa kasi ako nung nagreresearch ako about my post above na common daw. Pashare naman dun sa mga may experience kung pano mapeprevent at kung anong mga ginawa niyo nung napansin niyong may crack na.

Mas common yung cracks sa mga lumang Ibanez. 90's RG550 usually, hindi ko sure if because of over use or aging. Lahat ng naging Ibanez ko walang cracks or hindi nagkaroon ng cracks. *knocks on wood*

Tama si cayle bro. I've never had it on my bolt on RG (RGR321EX) and malamang lalo on my neck thru RG (RGRT47DX). Pero my Fender Strat and Tele from the 90's both have them. Mukhang finish nga lang kasi stable naman yung neck and yung tuning.

I think the weight of the guitars was a big factor. Yung Tele naka Poplar body yung Strat naka Flamed Maple Sycamore body nagkataon parehong mabigat kaya ngayon I never pick them up just on the neck. I use both hands, one hand on the neck joint and the other on the body. Praning lang. haha. If ever I do notice problems with its structural integrity, diretso na sa luthier.

Napraning lang ako dun sa nakita kong scratch/crack ng headstock kaya napalalim yung research, wala pa naman akong naoobserve na crack sa neck pocket ng gitara ko, baka kasi common din dito yun
