Hello guys. Had a problem. Navirusan yung external hard drive ko. Tapos yung mga folders naging shortcuts tapos pag dinodouble click ko sya may lumalabas na cmd then mawawala then yung folder is maoopen into separate window, then may naoopen na file ata tapos napupuno yung task manager ng program. IEXPLORER.exe tsaka NOTEPAD.exe. Iniscan scan ko with anti malware program and anti virus.

Is the other way para po maretrieve ko pa yung mga files? Help me please thanks po. :)

http://www.piriform.com/recuva

Useful to., basta good condition pa ung mga files.

Try mo mag right click ng isang folder na naging shortcut, then find target or location ata un, if im not mistaken, ang filename nya eh G:\virusgeneratedname.exe_[original folder name], delete mo lang ung .exe na name, then ok or apply. Mapapasok mo ung folder IF di pa binura ng virus ung mismong folder.

How can I backup my pc? Diba kailangan may external hard drive?

Kunwari may major changes kang gagawin sa pc mo. Tapos after these changes, nasira yung pc. Gusto mo ibalik dun sa dating working state nung pc. Pano yun?

Kakaupgrade ko lang the other day ng PC ko from AMD Phenom II X2 to AMD Phenom II X4 processor. And from 4gb ram to 8gb ram.

So yung Acronis, parang restore point pero kasama yung OS? Tapos yung restore point, hard drive lang kinokopya niya?

Ah gets. So files lang pag restore point. Tapos yung Acronis, yung buong hard drive kasama OS.

Here's another question.

You then need to go to their website and download the free and latest drivers.

Guys, ganito ba ang tamang pag clean install? http://pcsupport.about.com/od/operatingsystems/ss/windows-7-clean-install-part-1.htm

Tsaka ano benefits kapag may more than 1 partition ka? Ano ang advisable, isa lang o more than 1?

bro clean install of Windows just means you remove the previous Windows then you install a fresh one. if the system you are installing to doesn't have Windows, then it is already a clean install. if the system has one, just delete the partition with the Windows installation then install a new one, that's already a clean install. unfortunately one downside of this is that you will have to install all of your programs and drivers.

personally I do a clean install of Windows yearly since junk accumulates in the system. after a fresh install, the system will feel faster and more responsive.

regarding partitions, it is very important to have at least 2 partitions if you want to organize your system. I would at least suggest one partition dedicated to Windows, then install all your programs on this partition, then another partition for your data. place all your documents and pictures and movies and audio files here. when you format the Windows partition to make a clean install, the other partition is untouched. so your data files are safe. if you have Windows 7, I would suggest at least 40GB for that partition.

a partition is just a method of "fooling" your system that you have multiple drives within a single physical drive. the system treats a partition as a separate drive. this is useful for organizing your system. you can make separate partitions for the swap file, data, and however which way you want.

Ah so I just have to delete the partition during the installation.

Say I have an external hard drive and I keep all of my files in it, do I still need to have a separate partition on my pc? And would 40gb suffice or is it too much?
