Wifi keeps on cutting off then resumes after 5 minutes or so..

Hi, I noticed this happen recently..my wifi connection at home suddenly disappears and reappears after a few minutes..usually I just unplug and replug the power of my wireless router.. is this common for old routers? Im not sure if its the router..as i have to a-b it versus using direct cable..I noticed this a few months ago at my old apartment..but now in my new one with a new connection its been happening quite often..should I buy a new wireless router? I dont think its my internet connection thats cutting out..your thoughts?

Try to upgrade the firmware of your router first. If the issue persists, buy a new one. Routers are cheaper than pedals

ahhh good suggestion..read about this too..my routers pretty old..so baka nga a firmware update is a good move...thanks
