Lamb of God - Heavy, great singer, amazing guitarists, amazing drums. My fave.
Slayer - Do they need to be described?

Wolfgang - Pinoy metal/hard rock. For angry people like me. hehe.
Mastodon - Killer guitar duo. Might need more time to like them though.
Pantera - Killer guitar and angry songs. perfect combination.

These are only a few of the great metal bands that are out there waiting for you to listen to.

Don't ever forget to listen to Black Sabbath.

try listening to meshuggah, opeth, metallica pre-AJFA, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Sepultura (max cavalera days), Damage Plan & Pantera!

can't go wrong with those bands IMO.
