DiMarzio pros, what is the equivalent or very similar with DiMarzio Liquifire or Air Norton neck pickup tone response in Seymour Duncan?  :-)

HI Dimarzio bros.

I've been thinking of going to a more funky-fusion kind of sound although I plan to use my Ibanez 1820x for it (H-H). Looking for a Govan-Howe kind of sound and not really into the heavy riff stuff.

What can you recommend? Thanks :)

Thanks!

I recommend you go Suhr pickups na agad bro, you won't get that vintage-modern vibe kasi sa Dimarzio.. you may get it via tweaking pero iba pa rin pag Suhr mismo install mo sa guitar mo, lalo na at fusion pala ang habol mo. SSV & SSH+ worked good on my RG321.

Yup noticeable, about EVO's medyo matalas yan unless mag-evo2 ka. Pero kung gusto mo kumapal talaga tunog mo but still make it well-rounded on genre, I recommend: TZ bridge or Breed Bridge, then Gravity Storm Neck.

I think the SD Invader neck pup will give you a very similar response in terms of the EQ graph.. Although medyo high output ang invader as compared to the Air Norton and Liquifire.

Just get the Liquifire bro.. I have 2 of them. It's just that good. :-D

pagtripan mo muna yung pickups bro.. kung di mo talaga trip tsaka mo palitan sayang naman :)

Just like Senyor Pablo Gilberto! His 1st DiMarzio pup was also a Super Distortion haha

agree ako sa sinabi ni markv.. compared sa china pups for sure matutuwa ka sa evos.. pero compared to other dimarzios maraming mas maganda pa. Breed bridge + Gravity Storm neck magandang combination for fusion yan! :-D

more or less 3k. yung pots, depende. mas mataas na value, mas bright(correct me if i'm wrong).
mag gravity storm ka nalang. mas maganda. masyado matalas yung evo.

I see, it happens na Invader din bridge ko and naisip ko baka too hot for me yung Invader neck, matagal ng stock inf3 yung neck PUs ko, might consider Liquifire na nga lang, wala namang masama kahit magkaiba brand diba  :-D

Ahh with that, I would recommend otherwise.

And I'm not a fan of interracial pickup matching hahahah

Kakainstall lang ng mga pups ko. Very happy though gusto kong palitan ang pots.

Neck - Gravity Storm
Mid - The Chopper (single coil mode)
Bridge - 36th anniv Paf.

Nope. Basswood bro. RG370dxz. Not the best setup but it still makes the guitar sound better. What I like about the Gravity Storm is its clarity even at high gain settings. Dinig mo pa rin individual notes. :)
