This is the site of the official distributor of Strymon here in SG. http://www.svguitars.com/categories/Effects-Processors/Strymon/ ...no Timeline yet...

Im selling my Empress VSMD if Timeline comes out!

Sticking to the TF.  :-) I think PF + TF + MF > Timeline. Pero in fairness, it took 3.

http://www.strymon.net/timeline/

The timeline page was updated with so much info recently. Pretty overwhelming. I think it's cool that we can see all the features before it's released (with an adequate number of clips & descriptions). Para pagdating, medyo familiar ka na with this.

I'm sold. :-)

Still loving my El Cap. Might go for the Blue Sky next, kaso kung ganun, benta ko na lang El Cap then buy the Timeline.

i own both an el capistan and bluesky pedals they are very nice pedals.

while i dont experiment and look for "perfect pedals" as far as delays and reverbs are concerned, i dont think about selling them the same way i did with the past delays: echopark, DD7, DD6, DD3, digitech delay

i've got a thing for tape delays so i have the El Capistan and bought the Timeline when it became available because it can be hooked up to MIDI which is great for me. both are great and have awesome tone. i've got no complaints about them.

Cool. Do you have both on board?

I think that'd be cool, especially since the Timeline can't do everything the El Cap does. I just had to sell the El Cap since I couldn't afford to have both.

currently i do. i have a couple pieces where i use the "Ice" preset for a few passages. if i didn't need the fancy schamncy things on the songs, i'd be able to hack it through songs with just the El Cap.

Finally got my M-Audio UNO today! (I know I know.. this update has been out for some time.. it made the wait for this cable even harder haha)

At first, I couldn't get the update to work ('loading' screen wasn't showing up). I then did some back-reading on this thread and found that the labels on the midi plugs of the UNO were pretty confusing (the 'out' end actually corresponded to 'in' in terms of function). I did that and still no luck. I then went on to download the latest driver from M-Audio's website since I figured the one in the included CD was probably out of date. After that, it worked flawlessly.. literally finished within a minute or so.

I also did the preset update for 50-99. Worked fine.

I really dig the spillover feature. That's something I've been waiting for. I didn't bother with global tap since I wouldn't really use it much (at least until they update it to be selectable per preset). Kill dry is something I could utilize in the future.

As for preset naming, I think it's also nice. It was nice to see the Strymon names for the factory presets (I haven't edited banks 50-99 because I want to have access to the "standard" presets for when I''m bored/exploring/writing). It gave me a sense of what they were going for. I haven't started naming my presets though. I put it back to no preset naming for now since it seems like it would be hard navigating a lot of presets without knowing where you are (absence of any bank indications). Maybe I could name them with numbers to make that easier (ie. "1xyz", "2xyz", etc).

I'll spend the afternoon digging into the new looper controls. They seem handy (especially the looper level controls).

All in all, a great update, imo. I hope they come out with more in the future.

Flint is out.

Trem/verb.

Sounds great on the clips on the website. Interesting to see verb and trem together. The verb seems similar to the Neunaber Wet reverb.

Now if only they came out with a modulation pedal in the Timeline enclosure..
