I've heard good things about the Catalin Bread DLS.
You might want to look at "plexi" sounding pedal like Lovepedal Purple Plexi and Suhr Riot. Although depends on your amp. Plays the biggest factor in the whole rig - imo.

Tried it with my friends on these amps - Bogner 101b, Shiva, Dr. Z. Great pedal. Cleans up OK. Lots of gain. Beyond noon it gets really harsh, in a good way. Will get one from vhunter soon.

Haven't tried the Cool Cat V2 (nor the V1). The BM is a decent boosting pedal though. Best used in a true bypass looper.
Back to the Cool Cat. Best you try it with your rig before you buy it.
