btw, meron na ba sa jb music nito? we're planning on getting one for our church kaso gusto muna namin masubukan, as peeves said, magaling ang hype machine ng pearl so maganda masubukan muna.

but my question is..

magiging ok padin ba ang tunog nya as acoustic kung dalawa ang focus ng drums? as an E-kit and acoustic,..
_____________________________________________________________________ _______
this is its features:

Real look
Pearl e-Pro Live looks like real drums because the appearance of your gear is important. It's a statement about who you are as a performer. Most drummers would rather be seen playing real drums, and not a collection of practice pads.

Real sizes
No more playing on small black 8" pads. e-Pro Live features 10" x 6-1/2", 12" x 7", and 14" x 8" rack toms with a 20" x 12" bass and 14" x 4-1/2" snare with white heads.

Real hardware
The foundation of Pearl e-Pro Live starts with the modified Icon Rack. The rack will accommodate adding more drums and cymbals. The tom arms, shells, cymbal holders, and rack are all covered by Pearl's Lifetime Warranty.

Real drum shells
Pearl e-Pro Live features 6-ply poplar shells along with robust drum hardware and durable drum finishes.

Real feel
Real feel is the next important ingredient of Pearl e-Pro Live. Whether you're practicing or performing, Pearl believes playing electronic drums should feel as much like playing acoustic drums as possible. Playing traditional electronic drums with tightly configured small pads forces you to alter your playing style. e-Pro Live drums are sized and configured exactly like acoustic drums for a natural and real feel.

Acoustic shift
Truly, Pearl e-Pro Live is 2 drum kits for the price of one. e-Pro Live is made with real drums, so turning your kit into a great-sounding acoustic drum set is as easy as 1-2-3. One, remove the top hoop and the Tru-Trac head. Two, put on a regular drumhead and replace the top hoop. Three, tune and play!

eClassic brass cymbals
The cymbals featured in the Pearl e-Pro Live drum set are Pearl's eClassic high-end electronic cymbals, made with real brass. The eClassics feel and respond to your playing just like real cymbals, because they ARE real cymbals. eClassics feature a 3-zone 16" chokeable ride, 13" chokeable crash, and a super-responsive 12" hi-hat.

Tru-Trac drumheads
Pearl's Tru-Trac electronic drumheads feature dual zones that reproduce all of the intricacies a drummer hears when playing acoustic drums. The smooth coating on the heads makes moving from drum to drum fast and easy. The formula used to create Tru-Trac Heads produces a feel virtually identical to acoustic drums.

Real sound
The ultimate goal of a drum module is to reproduce the real sound of drums. All of these great components couldn't reach their full potential without rich drum and percussion sounds generated from the r.e.d.box drum module (R.E.D. stands for Real Electronic Drums). The r.e.d.box features 8 sliders, 100 user-programmable kits, USB connectivity, many popular global effects, MIDI in/out, 2 main outputs, and 2 Aux outputs.

Internal memory
The r.e.d.box has 128MB of RAM. The full memory is used to accommodate the original acoustics of 1000 high definition sounds and 100 high definition kits. The sound library includes acoustic and vintage drums, electronics from beat machines to modern digital and a variety of orchestral, concert and world percussion instruments.

Memory switch
One of the most unique features of the r.e.d.box module is the ability to flash the memory of the module and replace the original acoustics with one large and lush-sounding kit. A few easy steps and you'll be on your way to playing premium kits on your e-Pro Live from the best drum sampling software companies in the world. Specially designed kits are available for preview and download from Toontrack, BFD, Ocean Way, Steven Slate, Sonic Reality, and Virtual Drum Line.

Pearl E Pro Live Electronic Drumset with E-Classic Cymbals Features:
Drum shell sizes include:
22" x 12" kick
10" x 6-1/2", 12" x 7", and 14" x 8" rack toms
14" x 4-1/2" snare

Real brass cymbal sizes include:
13" chokeable crash
3-zone 16" chokeable ride
12" hi-hat

Kit features include:
Real wood drums and real Pearl hardware for a totally realistic feel
eClassic brass cymbals
Tru-Trac heads
Pearl r.e.d.box Drum Module
1,000 sounds and 100 preset kits with 100 user kits
Ability to import external virtual drum sets from ToonTrak, BFD2, Sonic Reality, Ocean Way Drums, Steven Slate Drums, and Virtual Drumline from Pearl's website

Every now and then screw. Nagagalaw kasi lagi.

Sooner or later if you want to upgrade your peds, try Pearl Demon Drive. The best! Highly recommended. Sobrang panalo!

+1 sir theredd!
Beaters maganda aesthetics pero sa feel medyo 50/50. Gaan kasi masyado. AFAIK, sinadya talaga yun para sa mas magaan na feel that is a Demon Drive character.

meron kasing drummer na nag infrom sa akin na ang pinaka magandang beater ay ung beater na tumatama ung buong surface sa drum head. ung circle beaters (like pearl's DD and others) only hit on 1 surface. ganoon din daw sa mga square beaters. Sabi niya its like clapping using only your fingers against your whole palm, maliit daw ang sound na nagagawa. where as kung buong surface ng beater ung tumatama then you are like clapping palm against palm.

OT;
This is my very first High-end model of Single Pedal. Pearl P-3000D Eliminator Demon Drive

Topic;
Salamat..
Demon Drive

Glad to help. Enjoy your new pedal. Daming settings niyan.
I haven't used the ninja oil yet. I guess minsan lang talaga siya gamitin.

it looks like pearl is rebadging the dm10...ergo, buy the alesis dm10 pro kit instead since its cheaper giving the same performance

Re: TOM MOUNTS

Welcome master.

Keep on coming guys.

Ang available sa GC or sa music stores sa US are the ones made out of diecast steel, yung may black part. Yung made out of aluminum, special order ata yung sa Pearl though may mga nagbebenta separately online pero chambahan lang talaga.

http://talk.philmusic.com/board/index.php/topic,223793.0.html

meron dati sa yupangco main show room ng old style optimounts (yung may black parts, yung latest kasi all chrome). di ko lang alam kung nandun pa rin

Downside nga lang ng optimounts na made out of diecast steel yung nga yung may black part, mabigat. Compared dun sa mga naka-install the Reference and Masters kit which is made out of aluminum which is significantly lighter.
