Air drums is the best medicine for beginners.
When you air drum a double stroke roll 4 example, you imagine it perfectly executed!!

Nabasa ko to sa MD e, yung interview kay Stewart Copeland. Parang may improvement daw nga talaga pag ginagawa yun.

Drum Teacher Reference Thread
« Reply #41 on: January 17, 2007, 02:05:12 AM »
Since there are a couple of recent posts regarding drum teacher inquiries, and I don't know where to move them, I opened this thread which would serve as a drum teacher reference thread.

So, for those who are in search of a drum teacher, you can inquire through this thread.

And to those who offer drum and percussion lessons, you can also post your rates, infos and offers here.

Take note...  This is a public forum.  Even Philmusic.com non-members and lurkers can read our posts.  So be responsible with the contact details that you'll be posting and with the negotiations.

And so be it!  Topic set to sticky mode.

To start things off, I'll post Sir Jun Regalado's drum lesson info.  As posted on the Jazz Society website's classified ads section (http://www.jazzsociety.ph/html/classifieds.html):

- Payment and any changes in your lesson’s schedule is done through an authorized person. This will ensure that no misunderstanding over scheduling or payment will occur

- To be excused from your lesson, notification should be done on or before 1PM the day before your lesson. Failure to cancel or failure to show up on scheduled lesson, you will be charged for that lesson. This is to have time to give the slot for other students.

I'm aware that sir Koko offers drum lessons during his spare time.  Try to meet him on any of his gigs and inquire about it.

Si Dio kelan kaya magtuturo? :-P

I'm also asking that question to myself.  :-D

Seriously, I'm still giving thought about it.  I still need to learn how to teach effectively.
