I'd buy the original cd/album of my favorite artists. it's a way of supporting him or her or them. They deserve the credit for the devotion, time and effort they put in making the album or songs. Kung ako o ikaw ang nasa lugar nila, how would we feel if our intellectual property copyrights were stolen diba..

ganito ginagawa ko sa mga favorite kong artists puro original cds binibili ko. worth it naman. magada rin kasi yung may mga catalog ng album ka nababasa not just the music.

yes!

(though i havent been so lately kasi wala pa akong player na matino.)

why? for a lot of reasons:

-suporta sa kapwa musikero lalo na kung fan ka, pinagpaguran nila yung album nuff said
-iba yung feel pinapatugtog mo sa player/amplifier mo yung cd kesa galing ipod o computer
-mas nakikita at naririnig mo kasi yung art ng artist na yun pag hawak mo yung inlay, o yung package ng album mismo. think of sugarfree's tala-arawan or the beatles' sgt. peppers

these doesn't mean though na i'd buy any cd in sight. syempre yung mga gusto ko pakinggan parin.

for foreign band there's the Foo Fighters and when regards to local artist Rico Blanco at c Yeng Constantino. . .

- A classic album
- An anticipated album of a favorite artist
- An all time favorite
- Good album art

For locals, I should be a fan of their music.

I buy albums not to support the artists (there are other ways if I want to). It's just the joy of having the "physcal" thing.

Bumibili pa rin ako lalo na pag local bands naten.. "OPM is NOT Dead!!!" Support na lang ito sa mga kababayan naten.. Pero pag international artists/bands, most of the time downloads na lang.. Madali makahanap ng music nila eh..

hanggang ngayon bumibili parin ako ng original albums. iba parin kase kapag may physical copy ka nung album. saka masarap tignan kapag may koleksyon kana. mga 30+ na original albums sa koleksyon ko. saka way narin yun para suportahan mga artist na naghirap para sa album nila.

This!Isa rin to sa reasons kung bakit ako bumibili ng physical na kopya ng mga album

Two things can happen kasi when you meet the artist eh, either:
1. You miss the opportunity for the autograph.
2. Mahihiya ka nalang sa artist kasi pirated o download lang yung album na meron ka.
