Personally I do not believe in backmasking and I find it as a horrible excuse for telling kids the evils of rock music. Unless of course there are songs that are intentionally made to be heard in reverse.

although id love to hear your thoughts.

Reminds me of that little nicky (adam sandler) scene. These 2 metalheads were trying to impress satan's son with the backmasked songs they've discovered. Then little nicky whips out an old Chicago record, and plays it in reverse.

i tried backmasking our records, trip lang, wala namang sense in reverse, and pinagtripan ko pa lalo nung naka resampled (yung tataas yung pitch, parang sa laruan na cellphone ng bata, mayayay your my little buttefly.. ganun hehe, tapos nakabackmask ew! anu to??!?! wahahaha

sa "revolution #9"..."number 9" in reverse is "turn me on, dead man"...tapos meron pa silang hidden track sa sgt. pepper's, yung "inner groove"...nalimutan ko na kung ano sinasabi nila sa regular version, pero kapag binaligtad mo, maririnig mo "we'll f**k you like we're Superman", o "will Paul come back as Superman?"

to answer the question, backmasking is all hype...it's anything you want to imagine the backwards lyrics to be...though some coincidences can be creepy...

for example, play one line from mutiny's "ibaon mo sa limot" in reverse...the line "sino bang nababaliw, ako ba o ikaw?" when played in reverse sounds like "ako'y nababaliw, ikaw din!"

then there's "stairway to heaven" played backwards...in all fairness some of the alleged backwards lyrics sound accurate, but again...just a creepy coincidence, IMHO.

back masking -- oo syempre, madali lang gawin yan saka proven na kaya mong magback mask ng tapes and other formats, esp. with today's technology

however, yung words na madecipher mo from backmasking -- very subjective. You can hear whatever YOU WANT to hear from there. Stuff to scare kids from wasting their parent's hard earned money on records
