Guys, sorry kung naitanong na to before sa thread na to pero nagrerepair din ba siya ng mga wah pedal? Loose kasi yung pedal ng crybaby ko. Hindi na pumipirmi sa pwesto. Gusto ko sana patingnan at ipaayos.

Magaling si mang Raul he even makes the output and power transformers kapag nagpagawa ka ng clone sa kanya.

He's great. I can personally vouch for that.

But the man is old.

He should teach and pass the torch.

And most importantly, teach not to overprice repairs.

"Overpriced repairs" is a dangerous thing to tread on, as it's a function of supply and demand. I'm of the opinion that Raul charges very modestly, and to an extent unfairly towards himself. He could easily command top dollar elsewhere for the talent and experience he has, but it just so happens that we're lucky. If Raul increases his rates, I can bet marami dito bigla ang aangal simply because they have no appreciation of what the guy knows and can do. Ugaling Pilipino yan e, we want the best but we don't want to pay for it.
I'd rather be sharp than flat.

+1

IMHO, if I had zero knowledge about how my amp works, paying someone as knowledgeable as Mang Raul to fix my equipment is an absolutely affordable way to avoid irreparable damage to the amp (or my death).

May we know how much he charged you and what he repaired?

Hey guys sorry, I only own the Super Sonic in the pic. The other 2, a Bassman and a Deville, are owned by friends.   :)

Yun pong Bassman ng friend ko (non-PMer) tsaka yung Super Sonic ko, full retube and rebias. Yung US Deville ni scuttlebutter, nilinis yung pots. Between sa aming 3, madami na din na repair and upgrade si Raul since 2007.

Sir Gandy, yep sya nga si ampguro.

Best price pa din sya for me.

I always ask around Kung magkano ganito ganyan..

Best value pa din.

I want to learn what he knows so I can fix my stuff myself.

The man is old. He should teach.

Values thing din kasi . Kumbaga iilan Lang marunong mag ayos ng gamit mo.

Tatagain ka pa.
