Vintage 1970s Lawsuit Era Cortez Les Paul Custom Black
In the 1970s, a number of guitars were produced in Japan as copies of the iconic American brands such as Gibson and Fender. While some more notable companies like Ibanez and Tokai did produce the majority of these copies, other labels were created such as Cortez and Univox that were actually made in the same factories but under different brands. This Cortez Les Paul copy from the 1970s is a very made Les Paul copy that is absolutely on par with their Ibanez counterparts in terms of both tone and playability. This guitar has nice, easy action and the pickups sound great for a variety of styles. It is in very good condition for a guitar of this age showing some wear on the hardware and several minor dings and scratches but nothing major. This would make a great choice for a player of any skill level!
