Drum-Related GAS Shopping Reference Thread
« on: January 11, 2007, 10:20:16 AM »
Good day pinoydrummers!
:-D

I noticed recently that there are a lot of one-liner threads posted inquiring about where to buy a certain brand of drums or drum-related gear. In an effort to reduce one-liner posts and such, i suggest we post them all here for everyone to read.

Please don't hesitate to post what you know is available where. Be it drumwraps, locally made sticks (cheap alternative to the expensive brands), hole-in-the-wall shops at Raon where you spotted drumgear, etc... Basta lahat ng drum-related gear and where to get them.

Please don't clutter this thread, it would kind of defeat its purpose. :-D

Thanks!

I'll start, these are what i know so far:

Thanks for this post, bro paolo/pmack!  This can become helpful to many drummers, especially to newbies and to those unfamiliar of where to buy specific drum brands and stuff.  I set this topic to sticky mode, and I also did a little editing on your post.  I hope you don't mind.

Other music shops and dealers can also post their info here (ATTN: The Music Source, Everymusic, Vinci Rodriguez, and other legit dealers).

The Music Source
1021 EDSA, Brgy. Veterans Village, Project 7, Quezon City (between Shell and Munoz)
Tel:  415-0366 & 3764598

Saw Stagg drums, cymbals and sticks (oak and maple). You can also listen/try the cymbals. The myra and DH rides sounded good. Phin told me that they also carry Mapex drums. Also met Richard (store manager I believe). Nice dudes. Accomodating and friendly.

Saan ito banda? Sorry, I'm not too familiar with Project 7. Pero mukhang sa may SM North? At saka ano yung fastest way na makapunta doon kung commute? Salamat!

PEACE.... PEACE.... PEACE.... PEACE....

whether vintage or old, they are still crap  :-D and would cost you an arm and a leg. nakaka awa pa yung drums dun pag nakita nyo.

There's an RJ store in Glorietta.  Nasa labas siya, facing Park Square.  If you know where Perfect Pitch Park Square is, tatawid ka lang sa Glorietta at makikita mo ang RJ.

Just call up the Dagupan branch first before you actually visit their store.

Share ko lang. Haha. I have a friend from UA&P, may kaklase siyang mayaman na may drums na quite.. err. nafrustrate sa drumming so binenta niya ang drums niya. In mint condition, nakuha ng kaibigan ko (rainier ang name) ang drums ng kaklase niyang Chinese for 25k. 25k ha. For a Pearl SMX Session series? Wow. Sana may Emperors, Diplomats at Powerstrokes huhu.
