We're in the process of forming a band that plays experimental music (jazz-prog-metal-classical fusion, avant garde, etc.) and we need a bassist. Rehearsal/jam to be scheduled Wednesday and/or Friday nights in Makati.
Repertoire for this band is about 80% original music and 20% covers (jazz standard reinterpretations, prog rock instrumentals, etc.)
Requirements:
1. Professional attitude.
2. Open-minded and willing to learn.
3. Possesses his/her own instrument.
4. Looking for a creative musical outlet (sorry but this is not a financially viable opportunity).
Our preferences include:
1. Wide musical influences spanning multiple genres.
2. Can play in odd-time/complex time signatures.
3. Comfortable with improvisation.
4. Plays two or more instruments.
5. Can read music in standard notation.
6. Can sing.
