TRS-PRO is it any good.
« on: February 22, 2007, 04:55:04 AM »
Takeuchi nga ba gumawa ng TRS-PRO? Ive heard good comments about the TRS-101 but not so good ones about the LO-TRS. Anyone using any one of these baka may alam kayo. Anything that may help me choose the right trem. I already know how good the OFR is and Of cours those korean copies are out of the question. Baka lang merong second option aside from the OFR which is measured just right for my trem cavity.

TRS-PRO = made in japan just like the TRS-101/Ibanez TRS and Ibanez LO-TRS 1 AFAIK.

Look at the trem block kung may mark ng Takeuchi and country of manufacture.

http://www.allpartsjapan.com/information/information_main02.html ayan meron din info pa jan.

Not the gratest trem. I think the edges get beaten easy ... so tuning isnt that stable.

Not exactly the most durable Floyd Rose type system. 2 more reasons aside from the knife edge problems:

After 1 year pansinin niyo.

2. Again the saddles madaling ma -loose tread.

My suggestion is to replace the saddles.

Good point.

TRS-PRO is the generic equivalent of the Ibanez LO-TRS.
They are both Japanese Licensed Trems.

For the price they're okay, but I would go for an american made LFR.

The edge 3 is an original ibanez design, as with all the other edge bridges.

At least these trems dont go flat and all like the new ZR. ugly thing that ZR

Some people think ZR trems are the ultimate trems lalo na sa mga threads ng ibang website sa abroad. Ako in my own honest opinion?... di ko alam--lol  :-D

wait wait...

check nyo po yung similarities (tail, micro tuners and saddle lock) ng TRS-PRO and Floyd Rose Pro

Floyd Rose Pro:

TRS Pro:

Ibanez used 2 Lo-TRS trems.  Lo-TRS = MIJ. Lo-TRS 2 = MIK.  Mas malaki yung trem block ng MIJ Lo-TRS tsaka screw in yung bar nito.

There you go, I was reffering to the MIJ TRS not the MIK TRS2

I Believe that the TRS PRO is the Licensed version of The OFR Pro.
