^^ normal setup should be pair of hats, 1 crash & 1 ride. thanks

It depends bro, for the standard cymbal triangle its gonna be hats, crash and ride.

Always remember bro, walang panget na set up. It will always depend on how you'll use the cymbals.

My friend's set up before was a hi-hat crash ride and ride because he is fond of playing with bells.
e nun tumagal, naging set up nya is hats, 1 crash, 1 ride 4 cup chimes and 4 chinas (ranging from 8 10 12 and 16).

Kaya lang naging standard yung hats, crash and ride set up because its the basic.

:) Newbie lang po ako d2 pero i just want to know your opinion sa bibilhn ko..

Every opinion counts. Thank you mga master! :)

Given your options, I'll go first with a b'new snare. mas madalas mo yan gagamitin at kakailanganin as compared with a single crash cymbal. saka mo na isunod ang pagbuo ng cymbals mo.

yup! it was merged under a general cam drive thread though..

I agree with sir Riff!

Not too sure chief, pero you could try JB music kung QC based stores lang hahanapan mo.

Merong existing topic though not specifically for Traps per se. it has been discussed though, so best guess is to browse through the thread to pick up on certain fine points. regards!

same lang halos sila. mas madali nga lang maghanap at bumili ng murang add-ons for pearl re hardware/drumset expansion if ever though.

Throw Off and Butt End
« Reply #1096 on: January 10, 2013, 01:20:23 AM »
Hi guys I just want to ask with regards to Throw Offs and Butt End of a snare drum. I'm about to restore a Pearl Piccolo, it was given to me months already and the Throw Off and Butt End are not in good condition. The question is that if I'm going to replace both with a new one - should I get throw offs specific for piccolos or I can buy those Gibraltar throw offs available on music stores? :)

Thanks in advance.

God Bless :)

due to the piccolo snare's short height, it requires small throw-offs para magkasya sa clearance ng space in between the top and bottom rims, so i am 99% sure a regular throw-off will not do.

as for butt-ends, relatively one size fits all, just make sure yung holes ng old butt-end mo is exact sa bagong butt-end na bibilhin mo para hindi ka na mag-redrill.

gibraltars make piccolo-specific throw-offs, i believe meron sa JB.
