Medyo cautious lang ako sa duncans when used at a shredder guitar (low-action setup/floating trem = somewhat thin tone), majority ng duncans kasi bright ang character.. so medyo mahirap ma-control, lalo na pag naka maple fingerboard ka pa.


Meron nyan sa audiophile.

Although these Duncans come stock sa mga jackson guitars, it would still be a love or hate relationship. A lot of JB users, especially first time JB users, complain about the ice picky tone. Too much high end/high mids for their ears. Pero pwede naman ito iremedy using a 250K volume pot. Anong jackson guitar ba yan? Anung amp ang gamit mo?

kindly avoid text spell also.. 

if i were you, research kung anong pickup muna ang kailangan mo.. at kung ano ba talaga ang hanap mo sa ipapalit mong pickup.. not because everyone says it's good, will it turn out good for you too.. tulad ng sabi ni cayle, love and hate din yang JB..

there are other combinations na interesting din.. If you like good cleans sa bridge while having really good clean sound from it, ilagay mo ay SD Custom 5.. it can pair well sa kahit anong lower output na neck pickup.. usually mga SD 59n or SD Jazz ang nilalagay kasi mga lower output at medyo PAF derivatives sila..

ah.. DX10D yung gitara ko mga sir gusto ko kasi yung pwede sa blues kya type ko sana yung sh4 jb at sh2 jazz pangit kasi pickup nung gitara ko na duncan designed ska muddy.. laney yung amp ko yung 10watts lang pangbahay lang kasi..

pwede yun.. kung ilalagay mo siya sa neck, just make sure na mas mataas ang output nung ilalagay mo sa bridge..

maraming wiring diagrams sa net.. pareho lang din kung papano mo iwwire ang neck pickup.. refer to their wiring diagram and color coding ng wires..

tried this before, bad idea.  bridge pickups are usually wound hotter and bassier to make up for the perceived lack of bass and power in the bridge position.  so if you use them in the neck position, which is already naturally bassy and loud, you'll end up with an overly bassy, muddy mess... unless you like that sound, of course .

ok lng yun sir.. yung seymour duncan na super distortion kya mga sir maganda kya yun? yung sh6 sa bridge tpos tb6 sa neck.. medyo alanganin ata ako sa jb kasi hindi nga maganda mga feedback.. ska madalas ko nakikita sa youtube puro mga les paul ang mga nilalagyan nila saka mga walang floyd.. gusto ko kasi yung maganda sa thrash metal ska yung maganda rin sa naka floyd.. anu sa palagay nyo mga sir? thank you very much mga idol..

Maybe you meant SH6 sa neck and TB6 sa bridge. Meron silang matched set na Distortion.

Love/hate relationship talaga ang JB, pero if you wouldn't like the high end sizzle ng JB, most likely hindi mo rin magugustuhan ang Distortion. You can try the Duncan Custom, especially for down tuned instruments.

mga sir tanong ko lang. ano kayang neck pick up ng seymour duncan ang babagay sa Charvel DS 3. gusto ko sana yung mejo jazzy yung maging output nya and at the same hindi macocompromise yung bigat ng tunog pag tumapak sa drive. SH 2 will do kaya? thanks po!

There are days that I absolutely love JBs but there are some days na sobrang alat niya. The SH2n Jazz has always been a stellar performer though, no matter the context.
