hehe obviously sarcastic.
I sold my G7 as well but my reason wasn't tone or sound, it's way too huge for gigging and my body is taking the toll (di na yata pantay yung kanang braso ko sa kaliwa hehe.)
I shifted to EHX's and an analog delay, that's the worm,electric mistress and stereo memory man plus an Artec SE-ADL. I'm planning to get a fourth EHX(the wiggler) kasi nakukulangan pa rin ako and I'm having a hard time pulling off the sounds I made with my G7 specially my "leslie emulation" patches plus the now tap dancing chacha mode with all these stomps...medyo namimiss ko na nga eh.
I guess it all boils down to how you want you're sound to be like, if you're an effect addict like me you'd wish decent multifx's came in smaller packages hehe.

In my case, yes.. if you're going to compare it with their previous releases (GFX series, 707II, etc..). 

I owned a 707II before and the G7 was way ahead of its older brother.  I haven't compared the G7 with other brands though 

Any Zoom converts here that was using other brands before ?

Maganda naman ang chorus at reverb ng G series eh, lalo na nga sa G2. Ako gamit ko lang G1 (EQ, reverb, cab sim, delay, tuner) plus Boss at Digitech OD/ Dist, ayus naman, masaya na rin ako sa nakukuhang kong tunog...

OK, so i've got a lot of questions here for zoom G7 and G9 users..

What if ur g7 or g9's tubes broke while playing live?..

gagana parin ba>?.. or tuloy prin ang tugtugan pero wala na ang boost ng tubes?..

WAH and WHAMMY effect

1. un wah of the g7 and g9 pwede ba yun un parang bad horsie na when you step on the exp. pedal it will automatically turned on?.. o talagang kelangan mo pang i-on yung wah effect.

2. are the wah simulations can really copy that those of the crybaby and vox?

3. yung pitch shifter ba nya kayang habulin yung sound ng whammy..?..
if not is it decent enough to create a "whammy" sound?..


Pwede bang magsabay ang amp modeling sa stompbox models?
(just my wild curiousity)



The "mighty" Energizer

there is no doubt that G9 can really obtain the warmth of a tube amp becaus of its 2 tubes the accelerator and energizer,

but in G7 it only has energizer, can it also bring warmth to my sound?..




been thinking of getting either a G7 or  a G9 depending on the budget that i will get this november..

pero thre is a possibility that i will get a G7 because it is smaller and lighter (im a commuter)...



sorry for all these questions i wouldnt want to waste my hard earned cash on just the things that i will not be satisfied,...
and im using the "money saving time" in gathering more an more information on those products..

thanks hope sumone can answer these questions so that I can really decide what to get..
