Hi guys here we can have our own thread about our PRECIOUS Macs hehe...

Simulan kona eh

I've been a Mac user since 2007, my first Mac is a 15" MacBook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel C2D (Sta. Rosa). Ever since i tried using a Mac i can't get enough of it, now i can't be separated with my laptop hehehe...i currently upgraded my old MBP to a new 15" Aluminum (Unibody) MacBook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel C2D, i don't know why i did it(upgrade) but i'm sure some of our Mac fanatics here can relate...hehe

MAC user 5 years running.

but i'm on the more affordable MAC side. mine is an iBook G4 12". i'm planning on pimping (upgrading) the specs of this iBook at the moment while i'm saving up for a Macbook.

well nauna ako nagkaron ng iPod and iPhone before getting myself a MacBook.. but before that the last Mac that I used is the iMac G3 waay long time ago.. hehehe

I'm planning on buying a macbook and saw this ad. It's 2nd hand BTW, but it still has warranty until 2010 (Apple Care).

Here are the specs:

Sa tingin nyo, ok na yung price nya for 41,000 bucks? Nice buy na kaya ito?

Oks na yan Paolo! it appears na Mid-2007 MacBook yan (according sa specs nya) and the fact that the applecare protection plan will expire in 2010 says that it was registered last 2007 (making it 3 years) so nabili ito late 2006.

With the 3GB Memory and Superdrive laban na sa 41k ito pre.. but anyways ilang GB ang HDD?

@kurtcobainer I'd take it. Looks like a pretty sweet deal.

Apple fanboy here, although I've never really gotten into the whole iPhone hoopla.

try to get kahit the first gen iPhone dude! prices are going down since rumor's says something's coming up this coming june.. or better wait for it coz they might introduce a new iPhone heheh

but onced you get one you wont regret it!

Hey, thanks sa reply Joseph! Unfortunately nakuha nasya, so I guess kelangan ko pang mag-ipon so I can get a brand new Macbook nalang. Thanks ulit!

Ganun? well oks lang yan pre.. since nakuha na yung mid 2007 eh I suggest you look for an early or late 2008 model or with the sta-rosa chipset (which will support a whopping 4GB RAM) yung mid-2007 kasi eh di supported ang 4GB though madedetect nya yung 4GB pero 3GB lang ang gagamitin nya.. so oks lang yun kung nabili na!

Just make sure na kung bibili ka eh may Applecare para wala kang aalalahanin, tapos try to download coconut battery and save mo sa USB mo para pag itetest mo yung unit (if 2nd hand) eh makikita mo yung battery health kung laspag na oh ok pa.

Meh. I'd rather go for a Blackberry than iPhone or an iTouch. Not my kind of mp3 player or phone.

+1 on the AppleCare for 2nd hand units.

Well talk about preferences.. anyways not all people like the iphone anyways.. the Blackberry or Pre will be a good substitute though..

In my case im expecting something like this one:

designed by some mofo I think.. this is not official though I must admit I like the way it was designed.. a netbook to be operate specifically by one hand while you cradle it in your arm..

just dont drop it

but as for me, i'd still prefer a normal netbook release from Apple. it needs to compete with Lenovo, HP and the others. if Apple releases one, i'm a sure buyer.

Indeed! but I still prefer my macbook or iphone when browsing the net outside.. masyadong pansinin ito eh..

but what really makes me want this thing if ever its real is because im a graphic designer, I regularly use a Wacom Tabletopia in drafting character concepts in my macbook, but with this one I can draw directly in the screen! (using a special pen I hope apple will include) and thats what I call "real-time" since using a tablet requires a lot of practice and patience because like tablet-beginners say "they cant actually feel drawing it in the tablet while looking directly in the screen"

but for sure this thing will cost no less than $2k

maybe Apple will make separate products for the purpose. maybe this is not their response to the netbook craze but a new innovation altogether.

if they are making a mini PC, i think they can price it a little higher than the going rate. around 30kphp+ most probably...or hopefully.

Mismo pre.. dami ng hints na may bagong iphone model na lalabas this coming June and according to developers merong product code sa source ng iPhone OS 3.0 na "iPhone 3.1" which means "new model" kasi according to them "iPhone 1.1" is yung iPhone 2G and yung "iPhone 1.2" is yung iPhone 3G.. so I guess meron talagang bagong model na lalabas

sana mabenta ko pa itong 2G ko if ever heheh

Mac user here. DI na ako babalik sa windows ever. Mas madali. Di na totoo ang sinasabi nila na unti lang ang software sa mac. As far as I know, kung anu meron ang windows, meron narin ang mac.
