Mga bossing pano po malalaman kung orig yung serial number ng Fender telecaster?

Meron po bang bridge na black o puro chrome lng tlga?

Pacensya napo at wala akong alam sa fender, may balak po kasi sana akong bilhin. Salamat ng madami.

there should be a serial on the decal or, if its an older fender, there ought to be a date or a stamp in the heel of the neck/ neck cavity. the tele has a bridge plate that holds the bridge slots and saddles.

I see, the first 3 character of the serial matches the format of the serial made at its year. The one holding the bridge is it only chrome or does it have a variation in color.

It looks like this. sir

I am assuming na MIM sya since you said yung first 2 characters ng serial number are letters...but maybe kaya ng i-peke yung serial number.  if its a MIA standard, it will be 22 frets, pag MIM or MIJ it will be 21 frets.

like what abyss has said, check mo heel at pocket nung neck...usually merong date yan. lalo na yung mga luma.

usual suspects, string-thru dapat yung body at hindi topload. and the BODY SHOULD BE HEAVY!! neck quality, pag MIA - satin feel yung neck, pag MIM me konting finish. fretwires should not be sharp yung edges(rolled edges)...
pag MIA, schaller yung tuners..pag MIM usually me tatak na Fender yung likod ng tuner...Serial number ng MIM sa harap and serial number ng MIA sa likod.

I hope this helps.

i nearly once bought a fake jap tele... here are some details that determined that it was indeed an imitation...

1. the serial number... check the date if it matches the condition of the guitar. In my case, yung date implied sa SN was an 80's one pero mukhang fresh pa din yung guitar like bnew

2. yung serial number parang nakadikit lng sa neck

3. frets were a bit sharp and were definitely cheap looking

4.  if possible, look closely at the body, inspect it under the pickguard, bka plywood din

5. try to determine if its indeed ash, basswood or alder although you'll need some experience here

6. iba yung feel ng neck sa mga imitation... dont know why pero for me iba talaga...

7. kung papayag yung mayari, check mo din yung neck and body, usually may date yun kung kelan ginawa

8. subjectively, if mura lng binebenta mejo magduda ka na.. either hot item yun or imitation most probably

8. if you are really not sure, ask a friend na may alam to come along..

btw... di ba po yung MIM standard tele... maple fretboard lng ang nilabas ng fender?

this site should help you.

http://www.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html

and all standard Fenders are MIM so are classic series. That is, if I'm not mistaken. But these aren't fake unless they say it's something else; like an American Standard. Topload bridge, not necessarily fake. Some vintage and MIM tele's have these.

There are black hardwares but not original fenders.  At least none that I know.

Hope this helps.

who's selling?  may tiwala ka ba sa seller?  that would be my ultimate metric.  if it's a forum member na di mo kilala -- ask for references.

if you're buying sa isang liblib na lugar (like a forum member who was sold a "US-made, all-original, mint Tele for PhP12K!), eh most likely di orig yun.

di naman po siguro lahat. i have a mim tele na topload, circa '96. i agree to what you said, mabigat nga ang tele.

also poplar for MIM before 2000. there are rosewood variants of tele as well.

mukhang kilala ko yang tele na yan. yan ba yung nasa bidshot/ebay.ph? :?:

much better if you have yourself checked it personally and plugged it to an amp.

usually ang mga peke, ply ang body. tapos sablay yung s/n. magaan yung gitara (dahil nga ply-bodied). tapos sablay rin yung tunog.
