all of those brands will decently keep a fix-bridge guitar in tune. might as well add schaller to the list. or for a 335 style guitar, waverly is really nice. pricey too.

Anong tuner ba yun...Schaller nga ata...the ones which you lock on top after tuning ? That should keep your guitar in tune...next best thing to having a locking nut.

both grover and gotoh have "kluson style" tuners.  vintage looks with modern gear ratio :D

how does gear ratio affect tuning stability? the higher the ratio the more stable?  whats the deal?

ever since i bought my first PRS, every other guitar i've owned that i kept longer than 6 months had locking tuners installed on them..

i can sometimes go the whole night and not go out of tune.. but then, i do slides and hammer-ons more than i do bends..  8)

are these sperzels? are they available in audiophile? I believe I currently have schallers so I dont think I'll be getting another set.

thanks for all the input. keep them coming!

its so easy when you use locking tuners.. although you know the old pinoy trick, pag nabali string, pwede pa gawan ng paraan, pag locking tuners, nde pwede. hehehe
