We use it at Alkemi studios in Makati, also at Big Knob Audio in Indonesia. Works Great.

I have a couple. its decent enough and the best part is their cheap but be sure to get good ones cuz i heard their products arent consistent like if you'd test 2  mxl 990's, there would be a big chance that they wont sound the same.

So I suggest testing them first

yep, thats the case with the 990s that i have. but these mics are the lower,if not the lowest LDC in their line up. but i guess the higher models should have better consistency. also watch out for the shockmounts...seems like they wont last too long. but the hell...they came free with my soundcard. so i wouldnt complain too much.hehe

The elastic on mine is loose already. I was thinking of replacing it with O-rings.

I've got 2 of those... MXL 603 is pretty good in my acoustic guitar.
