hrrmmmm... between the shredmaster and the boss+eq, the boss+eq combination sounds more heavy metal to me. as in piercing highs with a lot of chug.

This time I would go for the MT-2 combination. Lots of people say that MetalZone really sucks but, adding an Equalizer before it is a different thing. IMHO, you will get more tones and sound with that DIRT box with the equalizer.

i havent tried a shredmaster but Mt-2 plus eq is a whole differents story. Mt-2 alone sucks because in a band setting u hardly get heard maybe because of the scooped low frequency sound so the technique is :

scoop the mids in your metal zone to get the "chug" sound but not too much then up the mids in the ge-7 para rinig ka. This was my setup before.

nakakaintindi ka ba? shredmaster or mt2+eq ung tanong, none of the above ung sagot mo. tsk tsk tsk. kala ko pa naman matalino ka.

Yep, the MT-2 with EQ is okay.   You got to taste the "chug" with tone variations. Good sound is like what mang disto said, may body sensation.
