Parang sapatos or bagong cellphone sa una super alaga pero once mahulog at mabagsak wala ng ibig sabihin sa iyo after a few months...They say..Guitars are happy when they are used and abused..they bring on more MOJO LOVE the more they are played..and not babied..What are your thoughts?

i don't mourn dents because guitars (to me) are tools so i treat all instruments the same whether i am using a $1K-3K electric guitar or a $10-15K custom acoustic. i don't abuse my guitars but dents are just dents. as long as my guitars don't have any structural damage like neck breaks or extensive cracks, i'm all fine with some character blemishes.

ang daming paso ng soldering iron yung les paul ko... dun sa likod ng guitar body sa areas ng pots... i even see a small portion of the wood showing up, though i don't really feel bad, the guitar will stay with me for good, and those dents/burns will make me remember my guitar modding days

When I first got my Squier, nasobrahan ko nang higpit yung trem bar ko. After playing with it for a while, BAM, it broke off, leaving the threaded bit inside the block.

I'm still having nightmares.

OH MAN!!! ako nga 2 days lang eh..try to find lots of gigs and jamming practices para mabreak in..hmmmm Ill give it a week or two or three na sige! sakit talaga..pero mawawala din yan...we all got to go through the anguish-stage..

post ka pics! baka its not that bad naman! it will be alright man! now the guitar is officialy yours! no more babying..shes a lady now!

Actually the guitar I bought and got dented is just "meh" its got that shimmer..and twang...and built well..pero I dont know...seems like the asian guitars I have have more OOOMPH...or di lang ako sanay sa AM STD sound..anyway...its my gateway guitar to popular US made guitars..It will probably be my experiment & upgrade unit...

UY! yun ba yung may white binding? saw someone here selling it second hand...for 12k lang converted..baka pwede pa tawaran..so maganda pala siya ha..macheck out nga..

Hi,
I sell a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom, sunburnst with double bound body. Very nice and in perfect conditions, I have another telecaster and I want to make room for a les paul.
It has been modified with a togle switch to have both pickup in series adding an humbuking sound to the normal 3 standard tele position (very tasteful sound!!)
The guitar is available to by checked and purchased at the world wide music store in jingling road No. 433 (they keep it at the second floor)

Dati napaka-OC ko pagdating sa mga ganyan... pero I just told myself na I cannot prevent small scratches sa guitar kasi the more that you are using it and the more na tumatanda yung guitar, talagang magkakaron siya.. pero pag cracks na, ibang usapan na yun para sakin.. hahahaha..

CAUSE: Cheapo guitar strap.
METHODOLOGY: Tumagal naman yung strap, pero after a few months napunit yung leather. Tail-first nahulog guitar ko sa bare concrete.
EFFECT: First major paint chip.
LESSON: What's a few bucks spent on a sturdy yet a bit pricey strap kung ang welfare ng guitar ay at stake?

Pero habang tumatagal, di naman siguro maiiwasan magka-scratch/dings/dents/chips yung guitar. The more the battle scars, the more I love her. It's a sentimental thing siguro. Di naman nag-gigive up yung gitara ko sa akin because of my sucky tone & below average skills, bakit ako mag-gigive up sa kanya dahil sa flaws niya na ako naman yung may kasalanan kung bakit sila andiyan in the first place?

I remeber sa Americas Funniest Videos..pininturahan ng 2 toddlers yung motorsiklo ng dad nila..as in leather, rubber and metal and glass parts..puro paint nga kamay at katawan ng kids..hahaha..nirecord ng tatay..kasi surprise daw ng mga kids niya sa kanya..

My #1 also had its fair share of dings.... but I don't mind.. I actually like those unintentional dings.. Sa kotse lang hindi maganda ang may tama.

Small dent at the headstock.

Paint crack at the arm contour.

Deep nasty ding behind the arm contour.
