don't rely too often on tablatures.

take lessons.

set goals and practice.

patience is the number 1 factor. try to avoid the youtube as your main reference. record a song you wanna learn and let your ears work.  the sound will feed your brain with lots of possibilities. expirementation will stir your imagination.

push yourself to the limit

try to play the song that you can't play..
then you'll find yourself playing the piece that you cant play..

paang di ka daw matututo pag madali gamitin ang gitara
