Guitar Salon carries Tonerider pickups. Great pickups at a very reasonable price. They're all vintage-style though.
Rockstore Manila carries Porter pickups. Boutique pickups. Cost more than twice the price of the Toneriders.

putol talaga yung control plate or naka overlap yung pickguard? sorry, I'm not well versed with the Esquires.

EDIT: sorry, sa unang tingin mukhang naka-dugtong yung control plate sa pickguard. haha

btw, if you get the ashtray bridge would you have to mod the guitar body or drop in replacment lang ang labas? how's the string spacing on the current bridge assembly?

Measured the stock modern bridge and compared it with Gotoh and Wilkinson's technical specs, mukhang drop in naman sila. Shorter lang yung ashtray bridge towards the end, pero sasakto yung string spacing at yung 4 mounting holes. Magiging drop in lang dapat siya. :)

Hindi ba magkaiba ang position ng mga butas? The string through holes are aft the mounting holes on vintage, fore on the modern bridge.

Boss Bart, that kind of modern bridge ata ay yung 3 screws sa likod tapos may 2 screws sa front edges.



Mine's different, kasi 4 screws siya sa likod.. Sasakto dapat sa kanya yung ashtray. :)

meron pa yung mga old japanese brands that produced their own bridge plates in-house tapos hindi kasukat nung vintage style OR nun american standard yung mga butas so wala ka talagang option pag gusto mong palitan yung bridge plate. may dumaan sakin na greco na ganun dati.
