Cables for my very small office/home recording
« on: July 30, 2008, 08:03:04 AM »
Hi Guys,

Ito na naman po ako, magtatanong.. Needs a professional advise with the masters..

Dito ko po sa thread natutunan ung mumunting kaalaman ko sa recording, and I think so far I am doing good, with my PC / Guitars / Software for recording and a USB audio interface (M-AUDIO) (na nabili ko sa tropa).. Ok din naman pag gumamit ako ng isang MIC condenser, panalo rin sya.. Just want to ask about the different types of cables na nabasa ko sa isang article..

LightSnake Cables, IK Multimedia StealthPlug, DVForge Guitar Plug..

Questions:
1. What are their differences in terms of sound quality?
2. Is it the same as using an adaptor jack direct sa soundcard mo or meron ba sila katumbas na quality pag nagpalit ka ng soundcard SPECS into a higher dense soundcard? (Or depende pa rin sa software?)
3. Available ba silang lahat sa JBMUSIC or Audiophile or kahit computer store na lang like CD R king?
4. Ung mga nakita kong USB Guitars? Pwde sya i-drect sa PC, if i use one of these, would my Fender sounds like that?

I still have a lot to ask, f/w up questions, pero yan po muna... Again, maraming salamat sa philmusic.. more power guys!!
