Wala pa pong experience ako sa Ryzen eh, don't want to risk it with my first desktop.

try ko muna yung Focusrite na USB kasi mas mura and simple, bago ako mag-splurge for Thunderbolt interface.

Hmmm. If you plan to have a workstation for audio production, why don't you go with Mac na lang?

Speaking of Audio Interface naman, you don't need a thunderbolt if you are planning to record 1 or 2 simultaneous recording lang naman.
Sa mixing naman you don't need the power of Audio Interface na eh.. so advise ko, get a decent Audio Interface with GOOD PREAMP... like
those legacy models of Presonus or the higher models ng Focusrite.
models nila like Firestudio Project. I have one in my studio (FireStudio Project, 10 channels)
never had a problem with it, mapa recording man ng buong drums with 8 mics to simple 1 recording-solid! And yung PREAMP niya,
wala ako masabi - magtutunog mamahalin condenser mic mo hehe (exag).

Thanks sir! :)
Instead of searching for what to buy next, why not search for what to learn next?

very limited ang gaming sa mac. advantage nya sa widows when it comes to audio recording e it supports wide variety of recording tools and software.  :-D

Oh! That's where another problem comes in. Gaming PCs has a super power video cards right?
Mapupunta yun sa signal ng audio, in short, masasama sa recording - either a hiss, static noise to name a few.

yes good na good. magagamit mo pa as aux mic sa DSLR.
dapat nga yan nalang kinuha ko hindi iQ5

bkt d nalang mic? or interface. or interface + mic since bedroom dn nman.

on another note, I suggest going GuitarRig/BIASFX VST nalang para sobrang linaw tlaga ng tunog.

Tried to record again after a year. Nirecord ko Til They Take My Heart Away. P*****ina ang hirap! Masyadong maraming instruments and may mga riffs, licks and fills from all of them na di ko alam saan nanggagaling at kung paano kakapain.  :-o

Hahaha! That's one thing I hate about doing covers. I'm leaning more towards the technicality of the song that I forget almost completely what the feel is about. That's the reason why I ended up making my own music. Ok na rin.

quick question...

how would you replicate the percussive sound in queen's 'we will rock you'?

you know: 'krug krug prak, krug krug prak' (LOL)... like many people stomping and clapping.

i'm thinking delay, detune & reverb, but i'm looking for other insights as to how to do this easily/efficiently coz i think that this approach may sound 'phasey' like an automatic double tracker's 'close-but-not-quite' attempt.

thanks.

question. Yung intro, pano mo maaachieve yung ganung sustain live? I had this idea, (most likely same as that but not the same chord I think) para sa isang kanta namin.

May compressor at the start of the chain tapos combo ng tape delay na mataas ang feedback level, and grand hall reverb.

off-topic, sorry, kase i'm not totally committed to it, pero...

i have a zoom g2.1u in unmolested condish idly occupying space in storage... what's a fair price if i wanted to get rid of it?

i ask coz everyone else on this thread is more knowledgeable than i am.
