Haha they still produce really b**chin' riffs!

For my take:
Joe Perry - Aerosmith
Angus and Malcolm Young - AC/DC
Mick Mars - Mötley Crüe (don't like their ballads but stuff like kickstart my heart and dr feelgood is certified riffage)

And Satchel - Steel Panther .... Just hear any of Steel panthers stuff on youtube, past the humor in the lyrics, they're catchy!
