mga 6 siguro... 3 na seryoso, yung iba try lang hanggang makahanap ng tamang line up and direction...

masaya kasi napipilitan kang magaaral ng ibat ibang songs at genres...medyo magastos lang sa studio rent and travel and tiring sa katawan..lalo lagi mong bit bit gear mo..also minsan nagcoconflict sa daily schedules..pero all in all PANALO!..sarap ng feeling ang actual na tumutugtog... meeting different people ang players...pagsifra ng mga kanta..kung saan saan napupuntang mga rehearsal studios at venues..

Been loyal to my old folks,but back in the days gigged with 3 different bands that didn't last.

Mine..pushing 4 pero might drop the last one as di na kaya ng oras at energy ko..

1.Main band..T.O.C.underground Rock scene band..all original music..may management..and financially backed plus may production set on the works...recording and album release on the works.. This ones top priority..

2. Weekend Jamming band.. Great guys ..fun and really great toanz and gear...relaxed jams..see where we can go type.. Rock heavy driven guitar oriented songs..60’s to present.. Fun kasi toan at gear lovers and quest of huge kick ass sound... I mean its nice if you can have fun playing music and talk gear and tone at the same time..

3. Acoustic Showband type group...great folks din..kaso mga foreign students na sumasideline sa mga bar
Good fresh new music ..youth hipster stuff... i like them because they like making money via gigs..downside is medyo
Wala silang budget..kaya di gaanong full yung sound at medyo di sila mahilig sa gear and tone stuff.. They dont even want to spend on studio rentals...pragmatic bunch..more focused on finding gigs that pay...hehe which is good for me..

4. Locals..great talented and really nice guys with good gear and sound and tone conscious..kaso mga skid row..glam rock ang trip..metallica, gnr..acdc covers..
Good for me kasi i get to learn these songs for added repertoire..but not really my cup of tea... this band i might give up.. Or maybe just the occassional jamming sessions for fun but not commited... just a good experience to see the very local scene..

5. small creative projects ng drummer ng #1… trying out different styles and singers to find the right one..id like to do something like T.O.E....i can play bass..or aguitar and probably try to write songs again..



Well..thats it..pretty good at im happy...naaliw ako at natututo..big effort but its all for the music..i love it..
Plus nagagamit at nauutilize gear ko..so i guess my guitars and gear are smiling because of it..hehehe

daming banda nyan gandy ah!

in my case, it depends on how difficult the songs are, how strict the band leader is (in regards to song accuracy), and how many times the band gigs. if the band writes or covers technically demanding stuff, i can only do one. if the band leader is musically demanding and wants me to play at a top level, again, 1 band. if the band gigs 5x a month, yep, 1 band.

if its the typical garage band ... i can do 5, depending on how much i enjoy hanging out with them. the max bands i've been in? one... or two lol i am not very easy to get along plus i dont drink, nor smoke, nor give bandmates numbers of chicks to hook up with.

Just pushing it to the max..before the family arrives soon....but definitely ill probably focus on just #1 and  shows,gigs that pay....  in the end it will most probably boil down to that...

  Buti ka pa sir gandy, ako mahihirapan mag switch from  electric guitar (Distorted   )  to Acoustic Guitar.

kaya ko hanggang 3 lang, yung hindi jam band. kung may kasamang jam, kahit 5 siguro....

nag back out na ako sa band 4..di ko na kaya yung commitment..and medyo di ko trip genre nila..sabi ko hanggang minsanan jamming lang...

so its 3 bands now..and kung may sisingit..dapat yung gigs na may bayad..para sulit yung effort..

had a great jam last saturday with the acoustic group..free good food and drinks plus some cash! sarap rumaket sa pagbanda..enjoy...stage fix!

4 bands

-my main band is a Grindcore/Powerviolence as a drummer and vox.
-then skill project band is a metalcore/melodic hardcore as a drummer.
-bedroom project turned to a band is a Sludge/Stoner as a guitarist and vox.
-trip band project is a 2pc goregrind as a guitarist and screamer.

(may isa pa pala ko bedroom project na style shoegaze/postrock na hopefully makahanap ng kaplayer)

down to two bands...

yung acoustic bar band kasi maganda pera at perks...

and yung serious  rock band ko...may pera pero not as good as yung isa..though mas priority ito..kasi it a damn great experience to be in the underground scene here...target is different cities and outdoor music festibals kung swertehin..


papatos nalang ako ng isa kung easy commercial gigs na may bayad..

i think lugging around heavy gear and studying songs ..rehearsing..traveling to gigs..needs some compensation..di biro
