I am selling my Ibanez Joe Satriani signature guitars
in transparent red and black colors.
The red guitar is a 2002-2004 production with a LO-TRS II locking tremolo system.
The black guitar is a 2007-2009 production and has an Edge Pro II tremolo system.
Both have stock specs. In very good condition.
Recently setup at MICSIS shop.
Comparison between the two:
The red is brighter sounding(acoustically).
The neck profile is slimmer than the black.
I called it comfy C while the black is standard C.
The action is lower than the black for easy shredding.
The black has slimmer/defined contour similar to high end JS model.
The tremolo system has a push-in trem bar.
There is no need to cut the ball end of the strings.
Its has been in its case always and less played.
The volume pot is replaced with a bourns as the stock stop/freezed. The rotation is way smoother than the red
and lend itself for volume swell technique ala Yngwie.
