Phil -- nasa LA pala ako today.  I wanted to meet Perf, you, and the rest of the SoCal mafia but day-trip lang ngayon.  Maybe next time!

Hey guys, kindly post your favorite amp. It would be great if you also provide a short story about it, reason why you love it, and details on how it sounds. It doesn't have to be vintage or expensive, as long as you own it and you're happy with it... Here's mine...1970's Fender Dual Showman Reverb

I got this from one of the members of Philmusic at a cheap price, sold my solid state after a few days. It's really kinda heavy (around 200 pounds)... vibrato, no gain channel, usual EQ controls... master volume... 2X12 speakers, built in Spring Reverb, bright switch for Clean and Vibrato...
this really is a traditional tube amplifier... It sound's best on my strat...very clean...especially when you crank the volume knob...really clean glassy sounding amplifier... You can use a tube screamer for low volume set-ups...
This is the only tube amp i've tried, so I really can't tell... I'm just simply happy with it.... Share din kayo mga bro's...  :-D :-D :-D :-D

'Ganda!  Favorite ko rin ang DR together with the Princeton Reverb.

Oo naman.  One of the classics and most copied tube architecture of all time. This one, the DR, has 2-6V6 output tubes and 6-12AX7/12AT7 preamp tubes.

Said goodbye to a faithful amp to make way for a new one.

The old amp was a 30th Anniversary Marshall Combo, I've long been wanting to buy a decent head and a cab. Once I took the Triple Rectifier home I never regretted the switch. It's a very versatile amp, di lang sya pang metal.

The cab is from an old 8080 valvestate. I will soon get the matching cab para match made in heaven talaga.

I don't use my pedals anymore with this amp except for modulation, delay and reverb but I found out that this amp loves to be pushed with a ts type pedal with the volume dimed all the way,  tone at neutral and gain at zero. 8-)
