I watched the AMP Big Band concert last Friday at the Music Museum where the best sax,trumpets and trombones players performed, among others, under the direction of Mel Villena. Just imagine Toots Tolentino on tenor and Michael Guevarra on alto playing side by side with Romy Francisco on trumpet and Romy Marquineses on trombone. Of course there are others big names wind players whose names I can't recall. It was a superb performance sana may kasunod pa.
