o yan, para sa mga naghahanap ng thread about Pinoy Dream Academy. post nyo dito rants, raves nyo or whatever. comments. criticisms. praises. comments uli. bahala kayo. let's talk PDA.

me first: mukang consistent si liezel, linaw ng boses. bad trip naman si ross, andaling bumigay. may nakakairita din, susme - OA. dakdak ng dakdak.

the mentors (esp. Direk Joey) are remarkable.

Parang season 1 lang pala, may "clear" winner first weeks pa lang... (kung tatandaan last season si Yeng lang ang remarkable dahil sa sikat nyang composition)

mukang mas magaling nga yung 1st season, yung mga ngayon kasi puro nag-iinarte, parang nasa PBB ata feeling nung iba. tapos lagi nang ang drama e "hindi ko na kaya dito, chorva chorva".

pero at the same time, keeps me entertained nonetheless.

bad trip yung pagpapalit ng members kagabi no?

pero siyempre, kahit anong galing ng isang kontestant, ang mananalo pa rin ay yung mga "pogi" at "magaganda" na merong "star quality."

siguro 80% probability ito, pero malay natin mas trip ng mga tao si Bugoy kahit sa huli. i think kahit hindi gwapo si bugoy eh may chance siyang sumikat. sabi nga ni direk joey, kelangan daw ng matinding packaging. packaging tape available sa bahay.

Liezl, the last time I watched PDA, although she looked stiff and shy when she sung with Joey G. Needs expression and confidence. Kulang pa sa impact and justice to carry a Beyonce stance as if she would sing Dangerously in Love. mas lively at confident pa si Poy when she left PDA that night. Bugoy doesnt have the luster and look of a star. I think he will be an overrated but non-working winner if he'll emerge as the grand champion like Frenchie Dy,Jerome Salas and Mau Marcelo, according to meager promotion, market value and public clamor.. he even looked doing a spoof of Janno Gibbs if not FPJ when he opened the song Muli with Vina Morales, who outshone him with her soft but thick vibrato.

seriously parang naabutan na si liezel ng mga kasamahan nya, particularly ni Cris. kita mo naman ang improvement. mukang mas magaling pa si Laarni sa kanya ngayon. kakaiba lang talaga ugali. ok, forgiven.

im still rooting for Bugoy nonetheless. talent-wise winner sya. sa looks? nevermind hehe.

sino bet nyo? im guessing Bugoy, Laarni and Liezel sa final showdown, while Cris is the possible darkhorse ng competition.

Hindi ako watch ng PDA religiously kaya hindi ko alam ang performance ni Laarni and Cris, i just watched Laarni's Natural Woman rendition in youtube a while ago, she sounded tired and low, i dont know if she'd be able to hit higher notes like Kelly Clarkson & Carrie Underwood. If she has the husky voice and confidence of Kelly plus the drama and intensity of Leona, wow..Laarni is the One..or even just the high pitch of Carrie..haha.. too much!

me naman i was hooked nightly, but having to stay na gising till 12 took its toll: lagi ako late pagpasok! last saturday i watched Oh Su Jung vs. Karl instead.

that was the only gala episode i missed.

looking back, Cris has improved dramatically, while si Liezel parang horizontal yung growth nya. nalampasan na sya ng iba. and nothing (at least for me) is special sa voice nya. Bugoy is full surprises.

si Miguel? di ko sya maramdaman. pero may threat sya sa scholars: tingnan na lang daw sa finals night. hmmmm....

Oh napanood ko pala si Cris, the one who sings like Irish Fullerton, she looks like Amanda Page and Amanda Griffin, when she sung with Richard Poon with her bad hair on-screen. Seductive like Irish.

I see, kaya pala when I watched Liezl, parang wala yong star quality, i mean that episode was full of bad repertoire and wardrobe. hindi kinaya ng mga contestants yong outfit nila saka yong songs, it's either nasapawan nila yong celebrity partner or sila yong na upstaged...haha.

maybe Laarni could be the next Lani Misalucha or Kuh Ledesma..haha. although now, kinakapos pa sya, she needs more breathing exercises.

Miguel, the guy who did Never Ever Say Goodbye with Sheryn, ah..he has no star voice quality. Very common. as if he is just in a Mr Personality contest with his height and looks. Maybe Direk Joey...nailed him to stay..haha..kidding.

Liezl should avoid singing OPM songs since she sounded older than Joey Albert in Tell Me, she looked too exotic for that simple song, bad make up and outfit. Her voice is not that beautiful and flawless like Whitney & Beyonce. No comparison. but who knows, Fantasia Barrino & Mau Marcelo won even they dont have the "voice"..compared to Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks. or the ultimate diva, Alicia Keys.

Liezel - naupos bigla; nawala yung charm nya dati.

Laarni - mawala lang yung sanib nya ayos na.

Bugoy - charming kahit mukang [pichapie].

Cris - akitera.

Van - pogi. lang.

Miguel - buti pa ang hangin. kumbaga sa REjoice commercial dati eh, "I can feel it!" (sabay baba ng isang shoulder strap). sa kanya walang ganung factor. bwehehe.

1. Laarni.. although kinakapos pa sya, pwede sya i-build up like Lani or Lea, pang theater. or the new drama princess-anak ni Bing Pimentel ..haha. the true pinay beauty. mas powerful yong rendition nya ng And Im telling you,,compared to Listen by Liezl..

2. Liezl, ka-level nya kumanta si Nicole Scherzinger & Britney Spears so international nga ang dating, old-woman voice. squeaky...throaty, siguro she can give justice to Yakapin mo ako by Joel Albert unlike Tell Me..

Baka sya ang manalo kapag songs by PussyCatDolls & Toni Braxton ang kinanta nya..or Gloria Estefan.

Or Thalia.. they sounded alike especially in their renditions of Tell Me..I've found out in youtube that Thalia also recorded Tell Me..though Nandito Ako & Chika Lang were the popular ones.

3. Bugoy, the new Roderick Paulate, or Pooh-magaling sumayaw hahaha.... pang sitcom at comedy bar. unless he will morph into Brian McKnight. dapat natural, hindi modulated yong voice. kasi parang anytime sisigaw ng Darna..
