days of the new is a few-hit wonder...meron pa silang "shelf in the room" saka sa 2nd album nila, "enemy"...naweirduhan ako sa "enemy", biglang nagkaroon ng techno influences...

...pero sayang days of the new.  kups ata si travis meeks kaya na-form yung tantric, featuring the other three days of the new members + vocalist hugo ferreira...

here's more!  :-D

1.  fig dish - "seeds"
2.  the refreshments - "banditos", "down together"
3.  dog's eye view - "everything falls apart"

"friends of P" by the rentals...now that's one of my favorites from the era!  meron din silang "waiting" ata yung title pero di kasing-sikat ng "friends of P"...

the rentals, if i'm not mistaken, were a side project featuring weezer and that dog members...

speaking of side projects na medyo one-hit wonder, may naalala pa ako, "tipp city" by the amps, which was a side project of breeders vocalist/guitarist kim deal...
