One of the best.
Jack White has managed to strip modern rock's pompus trappings with so many guitar solos down to the basics (not that I don't like complex passages or solos, but man can't live on overindulgent solos alone).
I started listening to the band when they released Elephant. I didn't really like the album that came after that, but I got back to liking them again after hearing Icky Thump. Icky Thump to me is perhaps their most hard-hitting record, yet it's full of good stuff like You Don't Know What Love Is or the comic Rag And Bone.
I hope to see them perform live sometime. Maybe after Jack gets done recording and touring for The Raconteurs this year.
