No sound from electric guitar strings

Good day fellow forum mates,

I have a problem with regards sa guitar string that i bought daddario xl, there's no sound coming from the 1st to 3rd string.. but the 4th to 6th meron naman, when i replace them with some other brands of strings ok naman.. what seems to be the problem? hopefully may nakaexperience neto na makapag advice thanks..guys :mrgreen:

Na experience ko lang yan when i tried those cheap "fender" and "gibson" strings i boughtb at a store in v.mapa but never with d'addario and other good brands out there.

Most probably it was a "fake" D'Addario. Most fakes have stainless steel strings inside (1, 2, 3). These stainless steel strings can't be pulled magnetically by the pickup's magnet thus the weak or almost no sound.

Agree. I've seen this personally, yun box ng strings pareho ng print pero yun color iba sa authentic

Siguro nga, cause ive been using naman this brands kahit dati,  wala naman hassle, i bought it somewhere in raon.. anyway sir thanks this helps.

Naexperience ko yan using cheap string (piresound yata tatak nun) binili ko lang tingi emergency kasi pamalit sa b string. Langya ayaw tumunog haha.

Fake strings yan boss. Na experience ko rin yan dati at sobrang nakakaasar. I feel your pain.  :-(
