ah eh, sir/mam
di po ako yung may query.
well point of discussion since ni quote moko
kung air dried for decades ang mga wood na intended for guitars,
bakit kailangan ng humidifier ng fender factory?
when tonewoods are air dried - it does not mean that they sit in open air to dry. tonewoods are air dried on an enclosed environment
meron kasing kiln drying process where the tonewood are treated as if niluluto/pina-uusukan to speed up the drying process
you use humidifier (or dehumidifier) to control the moisture present in an enviroment (or the relative humidity)
usually, a guitar factory/luthier gets tonewoods that are already air dried and they let is sit in their factory/shop for a while before they
make guitars out of them
i saw once on tv about a famous classical guitar luthier (herman hauser) - he let his tonewoods to sit on his stockroom for the
next generation of hausers.
hope this helps
