Kakabili ko lang (as in ngayon lang) myphone a919i.. di ko pa nakakalikot pero sa unang hawak swabeng swabe...  nahirapan ako sa pagpili ng kulay at nauwi ako sa kulay white.

nagkaroon ng mother's day sale bigla eh nagkaubusan daw kanina. should have gone earlier

I even almost considered the Nokia Lumia 520 but the dealbreaker was no flash on the cam
I also never knew that these touch screen phones today are so huge that they cant fit in your pants pocket.

There were brands that I did like but were too bulky and was not yet reviewed and did not meet my standards when I tested them out. Also the updates were unsure because I asked the sales people everything there is to ask.

I am sorry guys. The hunt therefore continues.

sa kimstore nag price drop yata sila ngayon. check nyo na lang sa FB page nila.

masasabi ko naman sa myphone a919i panalo. nalagpasan nya yung expectation ko. smooth na smooth. di ko pa na ta-try yung mga hardcore na hd games e pero sa mga nabasa ko smooth naman din daw. ang bilis din ng internet gamit ang opirata mini (if you know what i mean) kahit babad ako sa internet hindi sya nag iinit. wala akong masabi na negative sa phone na to. hehehe.

Nabawasan naman tiwala ko sa cherry mobile. kasabay ng phone ko bumili kame ng CM fusion bolt. kahapon lang namin binili tapos di na nag chacharge. ok na sana e, smooth naman sya gamitin kaso nagkaproblema pa. napansin ko lang sa box nila walang sticker o anti-tamper seal. so kahit sino pwedeng pwedeng kalkalin yung loob ng box. malay ko ba kung may gumamit o nag testing na nito. sana mas ayusin pa ng CM yung quality control nila. sayang kasi mukang magaganda pa naman mga phone/tablet nila.

huawei w1 lacks the internal memory than the 520 pero a micro sd card would suffice

Alright guys I did not get a MyPhone product, or a Cherry Mobile Product or a Starmobile Product or even a Lenovo Product. Let me first explain why. I went to SM North after lunch time and the Cyberzone was filled with people itching to buy said phones well except for the Lenovo. I have looked at the kiosks and stores but the models that I did not like were not available. I also saw the service centers filled with people who are buying and having their phones checked for some issues. I did not interview further the people who had problems with some units (sinasadya ba nilang sirain? Di ba inaalagaan? Hehe) and I had a time constraint since we had to practice for the upcoming gig this weekend. This is my case and I have found a phone that I like in terms of look, feel and I just like it the moment I touched it.
Sir’s and Mam’s, Ladies and Gentlemen, Jazzers and Shredders, to the people who helped me decide and tore my heart on what to get 3:D

Design: I am a big guy but I do not really like 5inch phones, 4.5 pwede na,4 inch ideal since nasanay ako sa iTouch looks like most of the smartphones today but is as thick as idk maybe 6-7 one peso coins. Looks thick but it does not feel thick since it is concaved a bit rather than flat. For me, I like it and it looks elegant with just 3 physical buttons (volume and lock/power) and the three screen buttons (menu,home back). Ayos na for me hehe
Performance: Naka ICS pa siya 4.0.4, which to me not a real biggie, may update man o wala, ok lang. Dual core so for HD games, meron lag dapat right? Well I tried Dead Trigger HD and it worked smoothly after killing some apps(downloaded a bunch of stuff since 10:00 am, paused around 5pm and resumed around 9pm) Battery naman, I think good enough for my usage but sabi ng website talk time 5 hours and standyby 500 hours? Too good to be true, so to be fair, half a day bago ma drain yung battery with heavy usage (wifi on, gaming and standby) idk, ganun para sa akin ang putting strain on this dual core. Camera is nice man. Walang sawa sa kakapicture sa aming alagang pusa hehe. Ano pa keya… The screen responsive enough kahit sweaty kamay ko(must be the screen protector) Internal memo usable upto 2gb ata. Expandable up to 32gb. Sound quality sa stock camera app is good enough for my uses. Think those audience viewpoint quality recording. Did I miss anything pa ba?

Verdict: It is honestly overall a good phone. Did not really notice the differences in other phones I tried during my search and for me, I like haha It is to par with the local popular phones we have and what the forumites suggested me to get. I think the specs of the said phones are getting closer na to one another since barely noticeable na ang mag differences, the price tag and look nalang siguro vary form the performance but for me, this phone is for me. Any questions I would be glad to answer since I made this review at freaking 1:00 am and beyond haha and I am going to sleep now. Thank you Philmusic peeps. Till next time. pleasantly surprised maganda yun Alcatel android phone, I bought one for my daughter, dual core, Jellybean na sya, all for 6.9k, mukhang next phone ko na rin ay Alcatel, either that or Lenovo phones tingin ko maganda bang for the buck

Ano po yung model ng phone sir? Had issues with their Alcatel Glory 918n eh, no vibrate on text, lag, and other reasons

Sapphire 2, my daughter is using it, a week old pa lang naman but no problems whatsoever, she's happy dahil 4.5" yun screen, I fiddled with it a bit din mukhang okay naman performance, siguro after several months kindly remind me to update impression ng anak ko sa phone, we were juggling between Lenovo & Alcatel, pinili ng anak ko yun Sapphire 2 kasi Jellybean na sya, I'm very interested tuloy dun sa Scribe HD, quad core phone, 5"HD screen for  13.4k I think yun listed price (lalabas daw this June)

its ok. ive had a rooted LG Optimus One before. the only good thing about having a rooted unit is that is gives you access to almost everything you would want to change in the system. with the use of an app i downloaded from the market, i immediately disabled the boot animation and some settings that i was not able to access before.

and i know this is illegal, but it also allows you to download .apks from torrent which you could only install on rooted units.

Mukang OK yung CM Skyfire 2.0. pang tapat nila sa myphone a919i.. baka this sunday score kami ng flare or burst para kay gf. since madaming bayarin yun lang yung swak sa budget. tingin nyo sir yun bang flare na binebenta nila ngayon ay yung mga updated version na? o kailangan pa i update ng mano mano?
