What software i could use to make a online custom shirt design??for my thesis?

My group and I want to make a online cunstom design shirt..for our thesis??
any ideas how can be this possible? what software or tools can help us.
My ideas..
php
database(mysql)
etc.
for the the shirt design i dont know what software to make this and to apply to php so it can be online thanks.

ang balak namin makagawa ng online custom shirt design like logo  & shirt design via online or using or internet/websites..hindi nmin alam kung anung software ang pwdeng gamitin prang maging possible o mailagay sa database o php nmin??

it'll take ages for you to finish it hehe. maybe you could find some apps around the net and incorporate it to your site.

Not sure how you could do it with php alone, you'll need flash or java.

pwede yan, gamit ka nung javascript canvas libraries like paper.js, kinetic.js etc., tapos dapat nkaready na ung mga tshirt background mo and mga sample images na idadrag nlng nila then pwede ka mag add edit delete ng text , and manipulate nila ung buong items inside the canvas using the said canvas libraries. then i output mo as one image ung design.

sa PHP, just use wordpress para may layout ung site mo and for adding updates., then isingit mo sa isa sa mga pages ung software mo that will use any of the canvas libraries

pagaralan mo nlng marami tutorial sa online, search mo sa google. goodluck
