hahaha may offset na pala ako..90's fernando jazzbass..I made the Pick Guard myself using High-impact plastic the one used for Model Making..hahaha sa Joli's Espana ko pa binili yun..this was originally flat black with white tapered edges..prinoject ko nung last na uwi ko for a face lift wala kasi ako mahanap na red tort eh...bosny nalang.. ..I even made a clear acrylic pick guard for a telecaster.. kaso nagcrack...


fitted with ALICE strings..the strings of Champions..hahaha


Downfall sticker..joined a hardcore band for a while..yun ang pangalan...usually kasabay badburn, skychurch,and a few more regular bands I forgot the names..haha

kala nyo black yung screw heads? haha kalawang yan!

Pagdating sa basses, pangkaraniwan na ang offset body. Marami kasing bassist na naka-Jazz bass. Parang de facto standard na ang Jazz bass (along with the Precision) akin to guitar's Strat/Tele and Les Paul/SG.

actually mas unique pa yan before..i wasnt satisfied with this shape so I added a bigger,,sharper slightly slanted  BULGE doon sa top ng Neck PUP...sabi ko kasi mukhang P-Bass lang siya.. kinabit ko using epoxy...took a pieco of high impact made the shape and attached it like a Puzzle piece...it did hold pero sa kalumaan nagfade na ng konti yung Flat black paint..and medyo halata na yung DUGTONG and epoxy marks (kahit sanded)...so I decided to break it off when I repainted it last January...hahaha...mas malinis...

Youve got a mighty fine looking bass there my friend!  I always wanted a natural finish instrument...lalo ash wood...

there was a seller selling his squire Jaguar Bass for 15 k lang yata dati..parang wala yata bumili ..I hope its still there..and a 30k Jaguar Bass na Japan..this one was sweet...  I dont know parang wala pa din yata bumibili..

I wonder if overall prices for original classic Fender offsets will somehow go down once the Squire offsets are released in the market?

Hopefully kahit yung Classic Player series na $800 ngayon medyo bumaba sa $600 range.  Those MIMs are supposed to cost that much anyway.  The inflated prices seem to be dictated by their scarcity in the open market.

na-ignore ko bigla lahat ng sinabi mo at lumutang lang yung "high impact" at "joli's"...naalala ko dati sa peyups pag naka-either high impact material model mo or kung from joli's(from Diliman dadayuin mo Espana para lang dito) mo binili gamit mo sosyal ka na at standout

yeah classmate ko kasi ng elementary and HS and school mate sa COllege yung isa sa Skychruch..so he would always tag us along their gigs..hahaha..

Pag titignan yung usual Vintage Modified line-up ng Squier, mejo modern talaga at drastic yung upgrades sa classic guitars. Parang dapat ata "Classic Vibe" na lang pinangalan. Mas bagay judging from the looks although Duncan Designed yung pickups...imho lang

what? you were referring to the Fender instrument? I called that stuff up there as Satan's Offsets primarily due to the Band being members of the Church of Satan and that awesome red-black combination spells H-E-L-L

agree to this...pero iba pa rin ang dating sa kin pag nakikita ako ng medyo rare na color or finish ...say surf green/seafoam green na strat o kaya thinline na telecaster na may ibang color.

etong Squier Jazz Bass na to, sobrang nagagandahan at nattempt akong bumili dati:

a Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster that i further modified for a customer to house a modified big muff (tone stack removed) and a Mosfet Boost circuits. Also added a "switcheroo" fx order toggle so you can have muff into boost or boost into muff.

Guitar was also previously modified to have a fender wide range humbucker in the bridge position. i only had 3 strings at the time and for some reason i decide to tune to A...and play some mastodon...those strings were flapping like rubber bands (hence not a lot of sustain) but you get the drift...

ill make a better demo when the owner picks it up and sets the guitar up.
